He put his hand on hers. "Remember how you told me you were pregnant?"
She smiled and nodded. "I put a ukulele in between my violin and your guitar." She grinned.
"I was confused at first and then I got it. I was so excited." He smiled.
"It took you three days to notice." She laughed
"Then we told your parents. They were so happy." He chuckled.
She nodded with a smile. "Meanwhile they already had two grand children and two more on the way."
"Ours is my favourite." He smirked.
"And I you." She smiled and raised her glass.
He raised his with her. "I could never say how happy I am that you took me back."
She shrugged and sipped her wine.
He sipped it with her.The waiter arrived with the appetisers.
"Thank you." Melody nodded and licked her lips.
He nodded and walked away."They look good." He smiled.
She picked up a chip and scooped some dip onto it then popped it into her mouth.
He did the same and nodded. "I was right."
He ate with her. "I was going to propose to you before we broke up." He told her.
She furrowed her brows as she chewed. "We were eighteen.."
"I was going to when the album was released but then things happened and I never did." He told her.
She nodded and ate a few more chips. "Eighteen is still to young to be engaged.0
"True. But we could have waited to get married. I would have waited till we were sixty to get married Ido had to." He told her.
She blushed and sipped her wine. She then pursed her lips. "But you fucked Leah instead."
He nodded and looked away. "It was the worst mistake of my life and I would do anything to change it. I can sometimes see you haven't forgiven me fully for it."
"Of course I haven't. But that doesn't mean I don't love you. You broke my heart. You slept with her because I wouldn't do any freaky shit with you. I was only eighteen.", he said
"Yes. I will never forgive myself even if you do." He looked up her. "That's why I try to be the person you love and be better."
"Even if I now do some freaky shit with you." She ate more chips
"Anything you want to do I'm up for it. I won't force you to do anything you don't." He told her.
"What would you like to do when we get home?" He sipped his wine and ate a child.
"Sounds great. I hear Fifty Shades of Grey is available to rent." He smirked.
"My song is in that movie." She grinned
"Another reason to watch it. Which one?" He asked her.
"I think I remember that one." He nodded.
She smiled and ate the last of the chips.
He smiled back. "Do you want anything else are are you good?"'he drank the last of his wine.
"Well we might as well get a main course." She said
"Okay. What would you like?" He looked at the menu again.
"I think ill have the steak and potatoes." She said as she studied the menu
"Okay. I think I'll get the same." He smiled over at her.
She nodded and waved at the waiter.
The waiter walked over to them. "Yes Ma'am?"
"We'd like the steak and cream potatoes. Also with a side of other veggies and my steak will be a eight ounce please." She said.
