"Great! We'll probably drop him off in about an hour." He told her.
"Okay thanks. See you in and hour." He replied.
He put the phone away and went back up to Melody.
Melody's makeup was done and she was now doing her makeup.
He checked on Finn then came back and say on his bed.
He nodded. "Yup. I'm pretty sure we could convince them to take him till tomorrow." He chuckled.
He sat next to her. "You want to? I'm sure we could have some fun tonight."
"Whatever you want. You'd mane it and we'd do it." He told her. He put his arm around her.
She giggled and leaned against him
He put his head against hers. "Want to?"
"Have Finn stay at your parents overnight." He said.
"Okay." He kissed her cheek and got up. "I'll get his stuff ready.
She nodded and finished with her makeup. Her hair was up in a high, tight ponytail.
He walked to Finns room and quietly got out clothes for him along with some bottles.
He put them in a small bag and walked over to Finn.
Finn was sleeping peacefully in his crib.
He decided not to get him until they finally left.
Melody walked into the hallway, all ready to go. She had a black clutch in her hand.
He brought the bag over to her. "Is there anything I'm forgetting?"
She looked into the bag. "Nope. Well, just Finn." She laughed
He chuckled and nodded. "Yeah." He walked back into Finns room and picked him up gently.Finn clung to him and stayed asleep.
She waited out in the hallway for him.
He carried Finn out and nodded to Melody. He bright him downstairs and out to the car.
She followed him out and took Finn from him. "I got him."
"Okay." He took the bag from her and out it in the car.
She carefully buckled Finn up in the backseat then day down on the passenger seat.
He got in and buckled up. He drove to her parents house and thought about the night.
She touched his thigh and squeezed his leg as he drove
He smiled and glanced over at her slightly. "We'll have fun tonight."
He put his hand on hers on his leg. They arrived at her parents house he got out.
He grabbed the bag and walked with her to the door.
Melody didn't bother to knock. She just opened up the door and walked in.
He smiled and followed her in. Jason and Kaya were watching a movie on the couch.
"Hey guys." Melody smiled."Wow you two look so nice!" Kaya exclaimed.
"Thanks. How are you?" David asked.Jason got up and walked over to them. He hugged Melody then took Finn. "He'll have fun tonight."
"Good." Kaya smiled."He's pretty sleepy. We interrupted his nap." Melody said.
Jason nodded. "Then he will sleep good tonight. Though you're mother and I may be making a bit of noise." He chuckled.
Melody groaned. "Really? You have to watch your grandson."
"We will. Our favourite show is on tonight and we are excited about it." Don't worry, he'll be fine." He told her.
