"You did what you wanted. I couldn't stop you." He put his hand over her stomach.
She swallowed hard. "He wanted to get me pregnant again." She whispered
"That's not going to happen." He muttered to her.
"I wish I asked him why." She sighed. "I don't understand."

She nodded and covered her chest where he left behind hickeys.
"What did he say that made you want to not be with me?" He asks her.
"He tried to convince me you were cheating." She murmured
"No." She said, looking up at him.
He nodded. "I would never and will never do anything like that. I promise you." He put one hand over hers.
He smiled back and kissed her cheek lightly. "I love you."
"And I love you. Always." She kissed him chin
He squeezed her hand and lightly rubbed her stomach.
"Good." He grabbed some soap and started to wash her.
"He left marks on me." She frowned
"He never will again. These marks will heal." He Han his fingers gently over them.
She bit her lip and shut her eyes.
He kissed her cheek and continued to wash her.
She looked at her bandaged knee and leaned back against him.
"After this I have to talk to my dad." She said
She held onto his legs as she moved down under the water.
She resurfaced a moment later and wiped her face free of water.
She nodded and smoothed back her wet hair.
He kissed her head. "I'll finish up. You go see your dad."
"Are you sure?" She looked back at bim.
She nodddd and pecked his cheek before slowly getting out of the tub.
He smiled at her and watched her leave. "I love you."
"And I love you." She smiled and grabbed a towel. She dried herself off and went into her bedroom where she changed into pajama pants with a matching shirt.
He washed himself and rinsed off. He got out and wrapped a towel around himself before going to he room.
She made sure her hair wasn't dripping anymore as she left her room in search for her dad.
He found some clothes he left the last time he was over and put them on.Jason was downstairs sitting at the kitchen table.
She came downstairs slowly and stopped at the kitchen entrance

She just shrugged and looked down at her toes. She looked five years old again
He got up and walked over to her. He hugged her tightly:

"It's not your fault." He rubbed her back. "I feel like I've failed as father."
