After the movie, she stood up and stretched
He stood up next to her. "That was very funny."He smiled.
"It was." She giggled. "And cute."((Mike should call her and ask where she is since he saw photo))
((Okay))He nodded. "It's late. You should get home and so should it."
Her phone buzzed.
"It's kind of dark for me to walk...I can get my mom to pick me up." She said, taking out her phone. "Hold on a minute:" she answered it. "Hello?"
"I could walk-yeah go ahead." He stood back."Why are you at the movies with him?" Mike asked her.
She sighed. "Well we were just getting coffee but then we got bored so we wanted to see a movie." She shrugged
((Why didn't you tell me you were going?" He asked. He was slightly irritated.
"I didn't think I had to." She frowned. "He's just a friend. I'm allowed to have friends Mike."
"I was worried after you left. I didn't know where you were." He told her. "You could have told me where you were going."
"And you could have told me where you were last night." She said
"I was at Christies house. She just lost her grandmother and she asked me to come over so she wasn't alone." He told her.
"And I wasn't allowed to come? I'm friends with Christie to." She said
"She just wanted one person and I've know her longer than anyone." He told her.
"Sounds awesome." She muttered. "Good for you."
He sighed. "Alexis, why don't you trust me. Why do I always have to prove my faith to you after I've already done it?"
"It's not about that. You just seem like you have a bunch of better things to do than hang out with me. If you're getting bored in this relationship then just say so!"
"I don't choose not to hang out. I want to. I love you. Sometimes it's hard to but I stick with you." He said. "Maybe we should take a break. Just give each other some breathing room. If we decide we like it better without each other let's say…next week, we stay apart. If not, we get back together." He suggested.
She frowned deeply. "Is that what you want?" She whispered.
"I think that's what's best for now." He said. "I hope we can make it work."
"If you really loved me you wouldn't even bring this up." She said, tears gathering in her eyes.
"What do you suggest we do?" He asked her.
"We'll talk in a week then." He said.
"Fine." She hung up and covered her mouth as a sob escaped her throat.
Jake walked back over to her. "Hey. What's wrong?"
"Well, I think I'm kind of single now." She sniffled
She hugged him back. She didn't know what to say.
"I'll walk you home." He put his arm around her and walked with her.
She nodded and leaned against him, wiping her nose on her sleeve.
He gave her his jacket once they got outside.
"You're welcome." He smiled and out his arm around her again.
"Maybe it was never meant to happen between him and me." She said
"Who knows. You could get together with him again." He said.
"I don't know about that jake." She sighed
"Why not?" He asked, looking down at her.
She just shrugged, looking up at him. "I may have found someone better." She whispered.
He stood in her driveway and starred into her eyes. "Who?" He muttered back,

"I've been hanging out with you enough to know." She murmured.
"I-I feel the same way." He muttered.
"You do?" SHe perked up up a little more.
He smiled slightly. "Yeah. I didn't want to say it because you had a boyfriend.
He sighed happily.
