Scout and Connor

"Please?" She begged.
"You tired little man?" Caroline asked, holding out her arms.
Kaya giggled and pecked his lips

((He could fall asleep and she could text Jake))
He shook his head. "No. Not now. Maybe in a few days."
Noah rubs his eyes and walked into her eyes. "Yes mommy."
He smiled and kissed her back, chuckling lightly.

"I love you to." She smiled
"Come on it's bedtime or Santa won't come." Caroline said as she picked Noah up and started to walk to the basement.
"Okay." Abby sighed.
"Remember what we did one Christmas when the twins were two?" Kaya asked.

Noah laid his head on his moms shoulder.
Peter picked Abby and carried her upstairs.
He thought for a minute. "Is that when we hung the mistletoe above our bed?"

"They are sleeping in the basement on the futon babe. We get my room." Caroline said
"Yes." She giggled

"Right. Sorry." He carried Abby downstairs.
He chuckled. "We didn't just kiss that night."

Once downstairs, Caroline changed Noah into his pjs.
"Shhh." She laughed and hugged him tight.

He changed Abby then carried her over to the bed she and Noah were sharing.
He hugged her back and kissed her cheek.

Caroline tucked Noah and Abby in. "Now you both have to sleep or Santa won't come."
She sighed softly and closed her eyes.

He kissed Abby and Noah's head. "When he comes and if he thinks you're awake then he won't leave any presents."
"Did you want to do anything tonight?" He asked.

"But we're not home. How I all Santa know we're at grandma and grandpas?" Abby asked.
"He just knows darling, he knows everything." Caroline replied
"Just sleep." She said

"Because Santa knows where you are. He knows where every child is." Peter said.
He nodded. "Sounds perfect."

"Oh." Abby nodded.
"Now don't wake everyone up until after seven okay?" Caroline said.
She smiled and snuggled up to him.

Noah nodded and turned on his side.
He chuckled and kissed her lightly.

"Goodnight; I love you both." She kissed their heads.
She kissed him back.

"Goodnight. Don't let Santa see you awake." He turned a a nightlight then turned off the lights.
He smiled and pulled back.

Caroline smiled and took peters hand.
"Let's get the presents." She said

He squeezed her hand lightly and walked upstairs with her.
He sighed. "Can't we let everyone else do that. We've been doing it for how many years now?"

"Let's get the presents from the car." She said.
"Jason, we have three families in this house now and we met them come here for Christmas. We can help them. Besides we're not doing anything," Kaya statec

He put on his boots and coat and went outside.
He took her hand and helped her up. "Where are they?"

She opened the trunk and grabbed one bag of gifts out of three.
"In our closet," she stood up.

He grabbed the other two and walked back to the house.
He walked to the closet and opened it.

She placed the bag on the living room couch and sorted the presents by person.
Kaya collected what she could and carried them downstairs.

"It's gonna be a crazy Christmas." Kaya joked.
"Tell me about it. Three babies and two kids under the age of ten." Caroline said.
Violet began to cry upstairs.

Kaya nodded and grabbed the stockings with their names on it.
"Thanks." She said before he left.

He helped her put candy and other things in the stockings.
"Welcome." He entered the babies room and went over to Violet.

"I think that's everything from us." Kaya said.
Caroline sat on the floor and organized the others.
Violet squirmed around in her shares crib with Christian, crying

Christian had somehow stayed asleep. Peter picked up Violet and held her. "What's wrong baby girl?"

Violet looked a lot like him. She had his dark hard. She clung to him, crying softly.

He held her against him and rocked her slowly and gently. He softly patted her back. "It's okay. Daddy's here."

Melody snuck out of bed and slowly walked over to Finn's crib.

Finn stirred lightly in his sleep.

"Let's get some clothes on you." She whispered, picking him up.

He started to cry softly.

"Shhhh. You'll wake daddy." She cooed, cradling him in her arms. She walked over to her side of the bed, wincing as she sat down.

He stopped crying but still whimpered.
"He's sleeping. He needs to rest." Peter told her. Noah walked over to Caroline.
He looked over at her. "Yeah. You know I love you." He kissed her nose.
