"I'll have a vanilla latte with an expresso shot. I was up late last night." She yawned.
He nodded and got up. "Got it." He walked over to the line.
He came back a few minutes later with their coffee. He sat down and handed hers to her.
"thank you." SHe smiled and took a small sip. "I can't stay long. It's my birthday today so my boyfriend has something planned."
He nodded. "Okay. Happy birthday. Consider this my birthday present." He smiled back at her.
She giggled and nodded. "Thank you. I'm seventeen. Finally." She laughed.
He nodded. "Cool. I hope it's s good surprise." He sipped his coffee.
"So which school do you go to?" He asked her.
"Henry High." She said. "The public school."
"Oh. I go there. I haven't seen you there though." He said.
"I thought you looked familiar." She laughed lightly. "I might have seen you around the halls before".
He nodded. "Yeah. I don't pay much attention to many people."
"Why is that?" She sipped her latte.
He shrugged. "Not really a people person."
She nodded. "So you're an introvert?"
"Kinda. I don't go out that much. Don't have many friends." He sipped his coffee and looked at the table.
He nodded. "Yeah. I want to hang out with people or go to parties."
"You've never been to a party?" She raised an eyebrow.
"I did go to one about a month ago but I was alone most of the night." He said.
She nodded. "I don't go to parties anymore." She muttered.
"Oh." He sipped his coffee. "I heard what happened."
"Just that it happened." He told her.
"What happened?" She said harshly.
"That you were…raped." He drank his coffee.
She looked away and bit her lip. "I should go."
"In sorry. I shouldn't have said anything." He looked away.
"It's fine I guess." She started to gather her things. "Thanks for the coffee."
He looked over at her and nodded. "You're welcome. Happy birthday."((Should Mike and Alexis start having fights and she keeps taking to Jake and after a while she kisses him and decides to break it off with Mike?))
((Yeah!))"I'll talk to you later." She smiled a little and quickly left. She felt to awkward to stay.
He smiled back and watched her leave. He drank the rest of his coffee then left.
She called Mike. "Hey can I come over a little early?"
"How long will it take you to get here?"He asked her
"Can it be thirty? I'm almost ready." He told her.
"Okay I'll take the long way." She laughed.
"Okay. See you then. I love you." He told her.
"Love you:" she said, the hung up.
((Yeah))Alexis skipped up the steps to mikes house and knocked three times.
Mike opened the door and smiled at her. "Hey! Happy birthday!"
"Thank you!" She giggled and ran into his arms.
He hugged her tightly. "You are welcome." He kissed her head. "I love you."
"I love you." She smiled. "What my surprise?"
He asked her.
