He chuckled. "Maybe she'll bring girls." He got the pacifier and out it back in her mouth.
"And would you be okay with that?" She asked.Violet whined and spat it out again.
"As long as the person is honest, kind, caring, polite, and respectful, I don't care who she brings home." He took the pacifier. "But that's not until a long ways away.
Caroline smiled and kissed his cheek. "I agree. Do you want lunch?" She asked.
He smiled and nodded. "Sure." He put the pacifier in Violets mouth again to see if she would spit it out.
She nodded and stood up, heading into the kitchen.Violet sucked on it for a moment but then spat it out again and began to cry.
He frowned and held her against him. "What's wrong baby girl?"
She cried for a second longer the quieted, snuggling up against her father.
He rubbed her back. "That's it. Just relax." He smiled slightly. He never got to do this with Abby.
Violet made some cute noises.Caroline came back in with deli sandwiches.
He closed his eyes and leaned back against the couch. He hummed softly and rocked her.
"Everything okay?" She asked as she sat his sandwich on the coffee table in front of him.
He opened his eyes and looked over at her. "Perfect."
She smiled and pecked his lips. "You're a wonderful father."
He smiled and pecked her back. "I know. You're a great mother."
"I try." She smiled and took a bite of her sandwich.
He nodded and grabbed his then took a bite.its good."
"Thanks." She smiled and turned on the tv.
"You're welcome." He looked down at Violet then at the TV.
Violet start ref to cry again.Caroline looked over.
He looked down at her and rocket her. He grid her against him and rubbed her back.
She still continued to cry."I think she's hungry." Caroline said.
He nodded. "How much formula do we have?" He got up.
"Enough. Only she'll be drinking it. At least for a little while." She said.
He nodded she walked over to the fridge. He made the formula and out the bottle tip in Violets mouth.
"You have to warm it up!" Caroline called.Violet turned her head away.
"Sorry. Still slightly tired." He put the bottle in the microwave.
She smirked and finished her sandwich.
Once it was done he took it out and tried to give it to Violet.
Violet opened her mouth and began to drink, making soft moaning sounds.
He smiled. "If only Christian liked it like you do."He walked back to the couch.
"I couldn't breast feed her because she was in the hospital." Caroline explained
He nodded. "Yeah. If you had then she wouldn't like this stuff." He said.
"We'll all babies like it. It's just recommended for them to start drinking it when they're a little older." She explained
"Yeah."'he looked down at his daughter.
Violet peaked up at him as she drank.
Violet placed her hand on the bottle.
Caroline curled up against his side.
"After she's done could you burp her?" She asked.
He nodded. "Yup." He kissed Caroline's head.
Violet turned her face away from the bottle.
"You done?" He held up the bottle to see if it was empty.
Violet hiccuped and smacked her lips together.
"I guess I'll burp you now." He got up and grabbed a towel then draped it over his shoulder. He held onto Violet and patted her back.
Caroline took a picture of them. Violet made cute noises.
He smiled and patted her back slightly harder but not to hard.
Violet spat her pacifier out.
