Peter fell asleep next to Caroline.

((Good question...maybe where they can take Violet home a month later?))
A month later, Caroline was small again with just a small tummy still. She was making sure she had everything to go pick up Violet.
Peter was with her, holding Christian. Abby and Noah were with Melody and DavidZ
"Is her car seat already on the car?" She asked as she slipped on her sandals.
He nodded. "Yeah it is. We got everything." He put in his shoes.
She nodded and picked up her purse then took his hand, walking out with him.
He smiled and walked to the car, carrying Christian.
"Let's go get your sister!" She cooed as she took him from Peter and hooked him into his car seat in the back.
He smiled and opened Caroline's door. "She's almost as big as him now."
Caroline nodded. "I think she'll always be slightly smaller though." She buckled up.
He nodded and got in. "Did Melody and David find out the sex of their baby?"
"They want it to be a surprise." Caroline said. "Oh and Melody decided that she wants to have a home-birth."
He pulled out of the driveway. "Will there be any medical personnel there?"
"Just a mid wife." She said. "But they'll have a doctor on speed dial in case anything goes wrong." She said.
He nodded. "I'm guessing we will be there?" He asked.
She shook her head. "Just me, actually."
"Oh. I'll stay home with the kids then." He said.
She nodded. "Sorry. She asked for only me to be there." She squeezed his thigh.
"It's okay. Probably just wants direct family. I'll invite Mike over cause he's probably not going." He said.((It would be funny if he was the only one that wasn't allowed to go))
"My parents aren't going either." She said. "Well I think my mom is but she might be working." ((Lol that'd be random))
He nodded. "Who is going?"He asked.
((Yeah))
"Just me at the moment." She said.
"I assume David will be there?" He asked.
"Yeah." She nodded. "I think she's gonna give birth in those inflatable pool things."
He bit his lip to keep from laughing. "Never mind. I don't want to go. When of you are twins, you're the one I'd prefer to see naked in a pool."
She giggled. "Fair enough. But just so you know melody has more shape than I do,"
"Your more slender, she's curvier. Got it." He pulled into the parking lot.
She smirked and picked up her purse and the diaper bag.
He got out and got Christian, who was fast asleep.
She got out and took a deep breath, grabbing Violet's car seat. "You ready?"
He nodded and took her hand. "Let's go get our daughter."
She smiled and walked into the hospital with him.
He walked to Violets Incubator with her.
A nurse was there, unhooking her from the needles and wires. "Oh hello." She smiled, then bit her lip. "Doctor Smith wants to talk to you both before you take her home."
He nodded. "Okay." He looked down at Christian, then at Violet, then at Alexis.
The doctor came in. "Good morning. I....I have some news about Violet that you'll want to know."Caroline frowned. "What is it?"
He looked at the doctor. "Let's hear it." He squeezed Caroline's hand.
"We perform a few tests on every new born to check their sight and hearing." He paused. "Our tests confirmed that Violet unfortunately is...deaf." Caroline widened her eyes and bit her lip, looking at Peter then back at t he doctor. "So she can't hear at all?"
He caught his breath. "Is there anything what?" He asked the doctor.
He shook his head. "No. I can suggest some classes for you both to learn sign language. But that won't be until the twins are little bit older and talking of course. Also when she's older, we can try to see if a hearing aid will do anything." Caroline nodded slowly and hugged peters arm. "We can handle this."
He nodded and put his arm around her. "Just another day in your family."
She sighed deeply. "I should have assumed something would be wrong."
He kissed her head. "At least she doesn't have three arms."
