"She's just underdeveloped." Kaya said.Christian started to cry
He nodded a d rocked Christian in his arms.
"He might be hungry." Kaya suggested
He nodded. "I know but I don't want to wake Caroline."
"We're going to have to." She sighed
He walked over to the bed and lightly shook Caroline.
"Mmmm." Caroline whined, and gripped peters thighs.
Peter shifted slightly, moving his legs.Jason shook Caroline again.
"Oh for fuck sakes what?" She sat up with a groan and rubbed her face.
"I'm sorry. Christian is crying. We think he's hungry." He told her.
She nodded and held out her arms. "Peter, else up." She nudged him.
He gave Christian to her.Peter jerked awake. "What?"
"Can you go check on our other children?" She asked as she yawned and held Christian.
He rubbed his eyes and nodded. "Sure." He got up and walked to the waiting room.
Abby perked up, "daddy!" She ran down the hallway to him.Caroline pulled down her gown and began to breastfeed Christian.
Noah ran over at well. "How's mommy?" Peter hugged them both. "She's alright."
"And Violet and Christian?" She asked. Melody and Alexis and David plus Alexis's boyfriend all left to get food.
"Christian is fine but Violet is in an incubator. It helps her grow until she's big enough to leave." He said.
He shook his head. "No. She can't." Noah put his head down.
"Would you like to see Christian?" He asked.
Abby nodded quickly. "Yeah! Oh and uncle David took us downstairs to the shop and we bought mommy this." She showed his a stuffed lion.
"I got her this." Noah held up a stuffed wolf."Mommy will love those." He smiled and picked them both up.
Abby giggled and held onto her dad."Let's just get a pizza with Caroline's favourite toppings." Alexis suggested. They were all sitting in Melodys car.
Noah head onto him.He walked to the room.
David looked at Melody. "That sounds good."
By that time Caroline was done feeding Christian. She held him gently against her shoulder, burping him."Mommy!" Abby exclaimed.
Alexis nodded. "You know the place." She nodded at David to drive.
Peter set them down.Noah walked over to the bed. "I gots you this."
He set the wolf on the bed.
David nodded and drove.
"Oh wow." Caroline smiled, picking it up with one hand. "It's amazing. Thank you darling." He kissed the top of his head."I got one to." Abby slid the lion beside the wolf.
Caroline smiled. "Oh thank you!"
Caroline nodded. "Yes but be carful though. Mommy is sore and Christian and very delicate."
Abby climbed up and sat on her other side. Caroline then cradled Christian in her arms so they could see.
Caroline smiled. "Isn't he cute?" Kaya took a picture of them.
"Can I see Violet?" Abby asked.Caroline looked over at Peter. "Daddy can take you, then Noah after."
Peter nodded. "C'mon Pumpkin." He held out his hand.
She smiled and hopped off the bed and took his hand.
He walked with her to the Violets incubator.
"She's all some here." She pouted.
He nodded. "The doctors check on her from time to time." He told her.
Abby pressed her nose up against the incubator, then started to cry.
Peter knelt down and hugged her. "What's wrong?"
"I just want her to be okay." She cried, clinging to him.
"She will be. She just needs to grow." He told her.
"How long will she grow for?" She sniffled.
She nodded, calming down. "So she can't come home?"
