Caroline smiled then sighed. "Okay, help mommy up," she held out her hands. Abby giggled and stood up, taking one of her hands.
Noah stood up and took her other hand.
"Ready? One...two...three!" Caroline counted then arched up off the couch, belly first. Abby grunted and pulled hard on her hand.
Noah pulled as hard as he could.Peter put his hand on her back and pushed her up, getting up himself.
Once standing, Caroline giggled then suddenly gasped. The front of her pants started to soak up.
Peter saw it and his eyes widened. "Noah, Abby, go get your shoes on.""What's happening?" Noah asked.
Caroline began to breath hard. "The babies are coming guys," Abby gasped.
Noah ran to door to get his shoes on.Peter helped Caroline over and put her shoes on.
Abby got her shoes on to."You have to call my sister." She whimpered.
He nodded and grabbed his phone. He called Melody as he helped Caroline to the car.
"What?! Really!!" Melody exclaimed.Caroline sat down, softly whimpering.
"Yes. Now hurry to the hospital and call the rest of your family." He hung up and helped the kids in the car then buckled up and drive.
"Oh fuck." Caroline groaned and gripped the handle above the car door."Mommy swore!" Abby exclaimed.
Peter nodded. "Yeah but mommy is in pain right now so she is allowed to." "Fuck!" Noah exclaimed.
Peter eyed him in the rearview mirror Noah settled down.
Caroline would have laughed but the pain was to much. "I think they're fighting each other." She moaned in pain and held her belly.
Peter pulled up to the hospital. He got out and helped Caroline out and inside. The kids followed close behind.
Caroline hunched over, biting hard on her lip. She shuffled close to his side.
A nurse came up with a wheelchair. "Mr. and Mrs. (Whatever his last name was)? Your family called and said you were coming."
"Thank you." She sighed as she sat in the chair. "Noah and Abby, wait in those chairs over there for melody and David okay?" (I don't remember lol ))
They nodded and sat in the chairs."Let's go." The nurse pushed Caroline down the hall and Peter followed.
Caroline closed her eyes and leaned her head back.
The nurse got her to the room and helped her in the bed and then went to get a doctor. Peter stood by her side and held her hand. "Breath."
She rested her head to the side, toward him. "I'm scared." She whispered. She meant she was scared for Violet.
He ran his fingers through her hair. "Everything is going to be fine. Both of them are going to be fine."
"Do you promise?" She bit her lip, then gasped as a contraction came.
He didn't answer and squeezed her have lightly. "Breath and squeeze my hand if you want."
She groaned through gritted teeth and held his hand tightly. The contraction ended and she sighed and relaxed against the mattress. "I need the drugs." She whinedz
He nodded. "Hopefully the doctor will be here soon."
"good morning Mrs. Emerson." The doctor walked in with a few nurses. "I'm going to check you first before we make any decisions okay?" He said.Caroline nodded. "Yeah."
Peter stepped back for the doctor. A nurse gave him a few forms for him to sign.
He checked between her legs. Your about five centimetres. Half way there. You're moving fast." He said, covering her up again. "But I'm afraid I can't I've you the epidural, or at least a strong dose of it because of Violet." Caroline frowned, but nodded.
He finished the forms and gave them back. "Is there anything you can give her that won't effect anything?"
"She can have some medication for the contractions. A small dosage." He said
He nodded. "Okay." He told her hand again
She closed her eyes and held his hand.
She groaned as another contraction came.
He ran his fingers through her hair. "You're doing good."
"Oh fuck me." She hissed, sighing deeply once it was over.
"You're pregnant and giving birth so I can't." He chuckled, mostly do himself.
She scoffed and smacked him. "Not funny!"
"Kinda was." He laughed.Jason, Kaya, Melody, and David rushed into the room.
"Hey family." Caroline mumbled."Hey sweetie." Kaya rushed to her side and kissed her hair.
Melody's belly was bigger now. She was due in five months.
Peter stepped back but stayed close to her.Jason walked over to her. "Hey baby. How are you?"
David stayed to Melody.
"I'm about to push two babies out of my vagina. How do you think I'm doing?" She sighed. Melody giggled.
Jason nodded. "I watched your mother push two. Then two others.
"Well you're not gonna watch me do it." She replied."I love sassy Caroline." Melody whispered to David
He nodded. "I've see enough births."David chuckled. "Yeah. I like you when your sassy as well."
Caroline gave him the thumbs up. "Oh shush." Melody smirked.
