She sucked in a breath and stood up slowly. "Yes?"

"This way." He said.Mike stood up with her and followed the doctor.
"Mike," she touched his chest. "Can...you wait here?" She bit her lip.
He nodded and kissed her lips. "I love you."
"I love you to." She kissed him back then followed the doctor.
He sat back in the chair and waited for her.
Almost an hour later, Alexis was led out of the room and back into the waiting room. "She's a little groggy, but she's perfectly fine." The doctor said.
He nodded and walked over to her. "How'd it go?"
"I don't want to talk about it." She murmured, her expression blank.
He nodded. "Do you still want breakfast?"
He walked her to the car and helped her in.
She buckled up and leaned heavily against the window.
He drove to the nearest Denny's. "You okay?"
Tears gathered in her eyes. She shook her head.
She started to sob. "I'm a horrible fucking person."
"I felt her take it out of me. I mean she numbed be it I swear I could feel the weight leave my body." She cried into his shirt
He nodded. "I'm sorry." He rubbed her back.
She looked up at the sky. "I'm so sorry."
She sniffled and wiped her face. "I just couldn't let it live with the fact about how it was conceived. If it knew that it'd be heartbroken."
He nodded. "I know." He kissed her head. "I love you."
She sighed and closed her eyes. "I love you to".
She sighed softly and took deep breaths.
She pulled back after a few minutes and wiped her face.
"We don't have to go to breakfast." He wiped a stray tear.
He nodded. "Let's go to Denny's." He drove again.
She nodded and sat back in her seat.
Five minutes later they arrived. He got out and opened her door.
She stepped out and took his hand.
He kissed her cheek and walked inside.
She held his hand and found a booth for them to sit at.
He sat across from her and smiled at her.
"Do you know what you want?" She asked
"Yeah. Just three pancakes." He told her.
"Probably two pancakes with eggs and sausages." She said
He nodded. "I'll get bacon with mine."
She nodded and a waitress came up to them."What can I get for you two?"
"I'll have three pancakes with a side of bacon please." He said.
"Two pancakes, scrambled eggs and two sausages please. Oh, and tea please." She said
"Also can I have a chocolate milk?" He asked.
"Of course. Coming right up." she smiled and left
