He nodded and leaned against her. "Okay."
"I don't know what we're going to do." She whispered.
He shrugged. "She won't even know who's it is."
"It's the rapist's." She said flatly. "Which makes this so much worse."
He nodded. "We don't know who did it to her."
"We'll have three grand babies." She looked at him. "Fucking three. And Alexis is only fifteen."
He nodded. "Four actually. Caroline had twins."
Kaya groaned and pressed her face into the table.Alexis was standing in the doorway, crying quietly. "Tell me it's n-not true."
He looked over at her. He sighed. "Come over and sit down."
Kaya gasped, looking up. "Lexie..""No!" Alexis shouted. "No." She shook her head and cried.
He got up and slowly walked over to her.
"Don't touch me." She hugged herself and backed up.
He stopped and frowned. "I'm sorry Alexis."
"Tell me it's not true. I didn't want to believe it." She sniffled.
"I won't have it." She said. "I won't have this baby."
"Alexis don't say that. You may not even be pregnant." He said.
"Jason, she is." Kaya said.Alexis nodded. "I took test." She whispered.
He sighed. "Alexis, let's talk about this."
"No." She wiped her nose. "I'm not having this baby. It's not mine."
"I can't affect your decision but I want you to keep it." He told her.
"I don't want this disgusting thing inside me." She hissed and ran upstairs."Alexis Marie!" Kaya stood up.
"You are judging it on who put it there. You know full well that if it had been different circumstances, you would keep it." He told her.
"No!" She screamed and slammed her bedroom door."I think she broke up with Mike." Kaya murmured.
"The other day. I think it's because she doesn't want to tell him she's pregnant with another guys child." She sighed
He sat back down. "I wonder how he took that."
Alexis looked at her phone. She missed 5 calls from Mike.Kaya sighed
Mike tried calling her one last time.He put his head on the table. "I'm a horrible father."
She bit her lip and answered it but didn't say hello."Why do you say that?" She looked at him.
"Alexis? Are you there?" He asked."Because I can't convince her to keep it." He said.
"Yes." She breathed."That's not your job as a father." Kaya said
He sighed. "Are you okay?""I should be able to held her make good decisions." He said
"No." She sniffled.Kaya sighed. "It's her choice whether it's a good or bad decision."
"What's wrong? Do you want me to come over?"He sighed and nodded.
"I don't know." She cried,"Why our family?" She muttered.
"I'm conning over." He told her."the universe hates us." He said.
"Michael." She whined."It's my past catching up with me. I think I'm cursed." She said.
"What?" He asked."Since we've been together, you've been raped, our daughter has a mental disorder, I've been paralysed, our other daughter has been blinded, and our third daughter was also raped. I will say that our family is cursed." He said.
Kaya put her face in her hands and started to sob."I don't think we should see each other anymore." Alexis whispered.
He hugged her.He was silent for a minute. "Why?"
She hugged him tight. "Please don't ever leave me."She cried for a few minutes. "I'm fucked up. I don't want to ruin your life."
"I promise." He kissed her head. "I love you so much.""My life has already been ruined. You made it better." He told her.
She cried harder into his shirt."No. Now I'll for sure ruin it." She sniffled. "Because I'm fucking pregnant from that disgusting asshole." She spat and hung upZ
He held her tightly. "We've been through so much. But we always got passed it. We can do this." He sat there and looked at his phone. He got up and ran to her house.
Kaya nodded slowly. "Do you promise?"
"For as long as I'm alive and wen after that." He told her.
