"Oh thank god. Okay I'm coming to get him." She hung up and ran into the closet
"What's wrong?" He asked her, stretching and getting up.
"Brandon was in an accident." She said from the closet.
"What?!" He was about to get ready. "Alexis can't be here by herself." He saidz
"You stay here with her. He's apparently okay and conscious." She said, walking out into the room in just panties.
He watched her. "Tell him that Alexis doesn't hate. Speaking of her, let's not tell her about this just yet."
She nodded, stepping into leggings. She grabbed a baggy sweater and pulled it on.
"Do you remember last night? At around…1:30?" He asked.
She looked over at him as she tied her hair up. "What?"
"Nothing." He shook his head. "Brandon needs you."
"I remember we were going to have sex." She said. "I'm sorry I fell asleep on you." She walked over to his side of the bed and kissed the top of his head.
"It's fine." He wrapped his arms around her waist. "It wasn't the first time." He laid his forehead on her chest.
"We'll see how tonight goes okay?" She murmured and cradled his head to her chest.
"Okay." He kissed her chest then stood up and kissed her. "I love you."
She kissed him back, rubbing his chest. "And I love you. Go check on Lex. I'll call if anything is bad."
He nodded. "Okay." He grabbed her butt and squeezed it then went to check on Alexis.
She giggled and grabbed her purse before going downstairs. Alexis was laying in bed on her phone.
He knocked then walked in. "Hey kiddo. How ya feelin?"
"Still like crap." She mumbled. "I need a shower."
"You'll need to put s bag around your leg then." He told her.
"Do we have one big enough?" She ssked.
"Can you ask mom to help me?" She asked.
"She's leaving or already left to pick up some groceries." He told her.
She raised an eyebrow. "It's 6 in the morning..."
"We are running low. With everyone here we kinda went through it quickly and no one went shopping." He said.
"Dad," she said slowly. "Grocery stores aren't open until eight."
He sighed and sat next to her. "Last night Brandon was in a car accident. He is fine but he has a concussion and a sprained wrist. The hospital just called saying that he asked to see your mom."
Alexis sighed. "Did he do that on purpose? To one up me?" Kaya entered the hospital and asked for her son.
"I don't think he did it on purpose. He had been drinking when he left." He said.A nurse pointed her in the direction.
"Which was a stupid thing to do." She muttered.Kaya walked down the hall and entered a small room.
He nodded. "Yeah it was."Brandon was sleeping, snoring softly.
"I'll wait for mom then." She laid back down.Kaya stood by his side and stroked his hair.
"Okay. Call for me if you need anything."He got up abs walked to the door.
He slowly woke up. "Mom?" He sat up and hugged her.
She nodded. "Wait I need my meds."
"Brandon." She sighed and hugged him tightly.
"Oh yeah." He walked over and gave her the two pills."I'm sorry." His eyes watered.
She swallowed them down with water.Kaya kissed the top of his head. "It's okay. Stupid, but you're okay so that's all that matters."
"Good?" He asked her.He nodded and closed his eyes.
She nodded. "Yeah." She laid back down."I'm assuming your car isn't okay?" She asked softly.
"Okay." He walked downstairs.He nodded. "The bumper is crushed and the windshield is smashed.
Kaya sighed. "I'm not paying for that."
"Are you well enough to come home?" She asked.
He nodded. "Yeah I am. What time is it?" He asked.
"It's almost seven." She said. "In the morning"
She took his arm and helped him stand up.
"He has sustained a concussion and sprained wrist. He's lucky it was nothing serious."
