Kaya helped Alexis into the bathroom where she helped her change into sweat pants and a goodie.
Jason leaned against the wall and waited for them. Everyone was staying at the house but no one had slept very well.
They came out a few minutes later, Alexis on a wheel chair.
Kaya nodded. Alexis just stared for heard.
He sighed lightly and walked them to the car.
Once at the car Kaya helped Alexis into the back seat.
Alexis buckled up and leaned against the window."We have to stop by the pharmacy." Kaya said once she sat down.
He nodded and started driving. He stood at the pharmacy and looked back at Alexis.
"I'll be quick." Kaya got out and jogged into the pharmacy.
He nodded and looked at Alexus through the rearview mirror.
"How are you?" He turned to look at her directly."
He nodded. "Okay, but that wasn't my question."
She shrugged. "Just glad to be going home."
She pursed her lips and looked away.
"Yeah." He turned back to look at her.
"You have nothing to be sorry about, baby." He shook his head.
He stared down at her lap. "Can you sleep with me tonight? Like you used to when I was little?"
He nodded. "With your mother on the right?"
She shook her head. "No just when you used when mom was to busy writing and I had nightmares."
He nodded. "Okay. We can do that." He put his hand on hers.
She took his hand weakly. "I just know I'll get nightmares."
"I know. I just want to to know that you can talk to anyone." He told her.
She nodded. "I don't think you want to hear."
"It will help if you talk about it. As much hard as it may be for both of us to hear it." He said.
She shrugged. "I don't remember much."
"If you don't want to talk about it now that's fine." He said.
"Okay." He wondered why Kaya was taking so long.
Kaya came out of the store with the medicine and a stuffed bear and a flowers.
Kaya got in and placed the stuff beside Alexis with a smile. Alexis blushed. "Thanks mom."
"The teddy bear was my idea." He pulled out of the parking lot and drove home.
Alexis smiled a little and grabbed it, holding it in her lap.
He smiled and occasionally glanced back at her through the rearview mirror. Ten minutes later they arrived home.
"Everyone's car is here." Alexis said while unbuckling.
He nodded. "They didn't want to leave until they knew you were okay." He got out and helped her.
"Oh:" she said, and slowly got out with his help. Her leg was in a cast.
He put his arm around her and helped her inside.
Once they walked in, everyone was there waiting. There was streamers and balloons. "Welcome home!"
Jason smiled slightly. "Where do you want to sit?"
