"I don't know but I do know we will make it through this. We are having twins. A boy and a girl. Imagine how excited Noah and Abby will be. Or even Melody." He rubbed her back.
"But they're going to ask why." She said.
"We don't have to tell the kids but we can tell the others. They'll understand." He said.

She nodded. "She's like this because of me. Because of the medication I took."
"We can't say that for sure." He said.
"it has to be!" She exclaimed. "We lost one baby because of it."
"The doctor would tell us if it was your medicine." He said.
"What else could it be though?" She cried.
"I don't know. But it's not your fault." He said.
She stayed silent for a while, then sat up slowly. "We're having twins..."
"I guess I should have saw that coming." She giggled.
"Yeah." He chuckled and smiled at her.
"Can we go by my parents house?" She asked.
"I want to tell them first." She said.

"Okay." He stepped back so she could get off the bed
She wiped her face and stood up, belly first. She fixed her shirt and grabbed her purse.
He put his arm around her and rubbed her back.
She leaned against him and took the list of new meds. She made a face.
"Something wrong?" He looked at the list again.
"No. Just the side effects of these aren't good." She sighed.
"Nausea, vomiting, fatigue, constipation, mood swings...basically nothing I can't handle." She said.
"Sounds just like pregnancy symptoms." He chuckledZ
"And my disorder symptoms." She mumbled.
He nodded. "C'mon, let's go see your family."
She nodded and leaner against them as they walked out, stopping at the pharmacy.
He went in by himself and grabbed the medicine then came back and drove to her parents house.
She held the bag of drugs on her lap and rested her head against the window.
He looked over at her from time to time.
She sent Melody a quick text, saying she would call her later.
She unbuckled her seatbelt and grabbed her purse and the ultrasound pictures.
He got out and walked around to help her.
She took his hand and stepped out. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." He walked up with her.
Caroline rang the doorbell then took a deep breath.
He looked over at her and kissed her cheek quickly.
Kaya opened the door and smiled. "Oh! What a surprise." She laughed. "Come on you two."
He smiled slightly and walked inside.
Kaya let them In them closed the door. "I'll go get your father." She walked to the stairs. "Jason!"
"Peter and Melody are here." She said.
"Oh great." He smiled and walked down with her.
"Hey daddy." Caroline smiled and hugged him tightly.
