"Wow. Did they try when she wasn't on birth control?" He asked

She nodded. "They've been trying for about a month now."
"Hopefully they succeed." He ate some sausage.
"Why don't we try for kids?" He suggested.
She dropped her fork. "I'm sorry--what?"
He looked at her. "It doesn't have to be now but I'm just saying, I know you want kids and I do to so why not try in the near future?"
"In the future sure." She nodded. "But not now."
He nodded. "Yeah. That's what I'm saying."
"Oh good." She sighed with relief, picking her fork back up. "I thought you meant now."
"Yeah. Right now wood be kind of weird and a waste of a good breakfast." He chuckled.
She rolled her eyes. "Not what I meant," she giggled.
"I'm on my period anyway." She mumbled around a mouthful of pancakes.
"Oh. Okay." He finished his bacon and sausage
She finished her pancake then finished off her egg.
"How long have we been together?" She asked,
"A year before the cheating and ten months when we got back together." He said
"Right." She nodded. "So technically our second anniversary is soon."
"We should go somewhere." She suggested.
"I've always wanted to go to London." She smiled.()night ))
"What do you want to do today?" She asked.
"Do you have any suggestions?" He asked

It was early in the morning and Caroline was the only one awake. She snuck into the bathroom and took out a pregnancy test.
Peter was snoring softly in their bed.
She took the test then paced the bThroom as she waited for it to settle.
She then looked at the test and grinned, biting her lip. She stuck it into the pack pocket of her sleep shorts then went back into their bedroom.
He mumbled something about green jeans in his sleep.
She giggled and climbed on top of him.
He groaned and opened his eyes slowly. "Hey."
"Hey." She dipped down and kissed his neck.
