He put her manager in speaker. "You hit platinum!!"

"I hit what?" She sat up, crawling over to the edge of the bed. "Like, the big platinum?""Yes darling! The big platinum!" Her manager said.
"So which song is the number one song?" He asked
"The whole album was a hit! But the most downloaded was Bad Blood!" She said."Oh my god!" Melody stood up on the bed. She was wearing only panties.
He got on the bed with her. "We haven't even released the music video for it. Imagine what it will do then!!"
"Oh babe this is amazing!" She squealed and pounced on him.
He almost fell back but steadied himself and held her. "God you are amazing!"
"So are you!" She laughed and wrapped her legs around him.
He kissed her deeply. "I love you so much."
She kissed him back, holding his face in her hands. "I love you so much." She echoed.
He sat back on the bed so he didn't fall off. "This is amazing."
She giggled, sitting on his lap astride him. "You're scheduled to be on Ellen next week!" Her manager said from the phone.
"You'll come though, right? And hangout backstage?" She asked hopefully.
He nodded. "I promise I will. You know that she may ask you about me during the show?"
She nodded, "and I'll tell her we're very happy to be back together." She smiled.
"Good." He kissed her nose. "What if she asks about the cheating?"
"It's Ellen, I don't think she'll talk about that. But if it's hinted at, I'll say that we worked out our differences and you were wrong for what you did and very young at the time and since then learned from your mistakes." She smiled.
"All true." He hugged her. "Did I mention I love you?"
She hugged him back. "A few times." She giggled.Her manager hung up.
"Did you make breakfast?" She whispered against his lips.
He shrugged. "I'm hungry and I'm guessing you are to."
"I'm just going to put a shirt on." She nodded.
"Okay. Though you look better without one." He smirked
She rolled her eyes and climbed off him. "Yeah yeah yeah".
She opened her dresser drawer and pulled out a tank top, pulling it on. She then slipped into shorts.
He waited for her then went to the kitchen.
She followed. "Wow you really did go full out",
She grabbed a plate and put a little of everything on it.
He took a plate and took most of the bacon, sausage, and pancakes.
She sat at the table and took a bite of her eggs.
He sat across from her. He drenched he pancakes with syrup and butter.
"Caroline and Peter and trying for a baby." She said as she waited for the syrup.
"I hope it works this time." He handed her the syrup.
She nodded, pouring some on her pancakes. "She lied about being off the pill."
"Oh. That's not good. Did he find out?" He took a bite.
She nodded. "He found the empty packages."
"What happened?" He asked as he ate some bacon.
"He told her calmly about it and apparently she had a panic attack then everything was fine." She shrugged, cutting up her pancakes.
