She shrugged. "I guess so. I don't live at home anymore so I don't know everything." She said.

"How's your family?" She asked as she ate.
"My moms fine. She doesn't get out much." He told her
"Do you know why?" She asked, pausing to sip her water.
"She's getting older in years. She also can't afford many things. I would give her money but I don't have enough to give.@ he said and continued to eat
"You don't have any money?" She raised an eye brow. "I find that hard to believe."
"My ex spent most of the money I had when we were together and it took a lot to get her. I came her for my mom but then I saw your ad and I wanted to see you." He said
She poked at her meal. "Well maybe with this new single you'll make some money for your mom." She smiled.
He nodded. "I hope. Hopefully you'll be just as successful."
"Maybe you'll get back to there too." She said.
"I don't want to be famous again." He finished eating
He shook his head. "It's to much work hoping someone will like what you've done. I want something stable. Something I know will last. Something I can raise a family with."
"So what did you have in mind?" She asked, finishing her plate.
"I've always wanted to be a paramedic." He said
He smiled when she smiled. "I remember when I used to make you smile. It was the best feeling in the world."
She blushed, staring down at the table. "You always made me smile, David."
"I want to make you smile forever." He moved his have towards hers.
She bit her lip, keeping her hand still. "David.."
He stopped his hand before it reached hers. "I understand if you don't…"
"If I don't what?" She looked at him.
"If you don't want to be together." He started to pull his hand back
She reached out and gently touched his hand. "I'm not saying I don't want to,"
He held her hand lightly. "You want to take it slow?"
"Yes please." She nodded. "I think that's what we both need right now."
He nodded. "All I want is you. You're all I need."
She blushed and smiled, tears gathering in her eyes. "I missed you." She whispered.
"I missed you so much." He kissed her hand.
"Let's not tell anyone yet okay?" She said.
He nodded. "That fine with me. You want to get out of here?"
She nodded. "Yeah. I'll pay." She grabbed her purse.
"No I'll pay, this was my treat." He told her
"You just told me you were broke." She smirked. "Let me." She insisted.
"I'm not that broke." He took out his wallet and grabbed the recite.
She sighed deeply. "Fine," she put her purse over her shoulder.
She stood up also, smoothing down the back of her dress.
"It was. Do you want to got to your place, my place, or just go out separate ways?" He asked
"You can come to my place if you want. I'll meet you there. We can work on our song." She suggested.
He nodded and walked her to her car.
She smiled and fished out her car keys, unlocking her blue car.
He opened her door. "I'll see you there."
"Yeah." She smiled and sat behind the wheel.
