**notes:

Challenge Participation: for it to count as participating in a challenge, you must create a thread for that challenge and by the end of the challenge read at least 3 books. If it's a scavenger hunt, you must find half of the items.

BOM/Buddy Read Participation: for it to count as participating in a BOM discussion or BR, you must make at least 3 discussion comments per book.

Non-Hogwarts Challenges you can use the challenge's official start date and count any books you've read since that start date.

Books Count Only 1 time per challenge (unless the challenge states otherwise) but can be used in any challenge to which they apply.

Battle of the Books (Book of the Month)

If you participate in either Book of The Month books, you will earn your House 1 point. Participation means discussing, and posting your rating and a small review of the book.
If you read either one of the books you will earn your house 3 points.(6 for both books)
If you post at least two discussion questions , you will earn 2 Points for your House.
All teams can participate during the battle.

Ratings of the books will be added up in order to determine the winning book.

If you have already read the book, stop by and post your Rating. This will help out later on.

The House with the Best book for the Month, will earn and extra 10 points.
