Thankyou Leslie, I love her books. Everything she writes is a winner.

Melinda, thank you so much for reading my book! I’m so glad you’re enjoying it. 😊

And thanks for the pick! I kept hearing so much about that book so I just moved it to my PFM. I’m really anxious to read it!

Hi Tessa - This is my first time doing this - so I hope I found your correct shelf - You have The Education of Sebastian (The Education of..., #1) on your Monthly Pick shelf - I absolutely loved this book when I read it years ago... I hope you will love it also.

Oooh, this is super hard, actually. I've only read one book on your PFM list. Tarryn's [book..."

Ugh.. I actually thought for some reason that it was coming out around the 15th. I'll wait till it comes out and read it then if that OK with you - or you can choose another one for me - or if you have one that you absolutely loved and want to suggest it I'm open to that also..

Leslie | 2430 comments I finished mine! Trucker Trucker (The Good Guys) by Jamie Schlosser 4****

The cover and title make it sound like it's a smutty story about a rough "trucker". It's definitely NOT. The H is a big sweet pea and a virgin and the h is a foster child runaway. There were some sexy times but it was mostly just a swoony romance. Dual POV and great narration.

Thanks for the choice. It will be my 3rd read of the month so probably I will only read it in January...So many books and so little time sniff sniff

I finished last night! loved it! thanks Marissa ;)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments Me too, I’ve only read half a book since the beginning of December. Too much going on here.

message 64: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments All done with Her Perfect by Stephie Walls . It was a 3.5 star read for me. I didn't find it very taboo nor very angsty. Yes, Colbie;s story was quite heartbreaking, but the focus was on her and her plight rather than her relationship with the 100% swoonworthy Dr. Eli Paxton. And there was a lot of "tell" and not much "show". I'd have preferred a bit more of their relationship and a lot more angst and taboo drama. All in all, though - 3.5 stars ain't nothing to sneeze at!!

Michele (guilliem) | 2131 comments Wow! I knew The Pebble Jar by H A Robinson was going to be something special and it definitely lived up to my expectations! 5 stars - thanks for the pick Lisa!!

I am soooo happy you loved it, Michele!!

Marissa (marissadonofrio) | 169 comments Tessa wrote: "Marissa, you have a few 5stars on your list. I decided to be nice and not give you the one that made me sob. :) So The Hard Count by Ginger Scott"

I finished The Hard Count by Ginger Scott . This was a sweet YA story and most likely why I kept putting it off. This might be a “it’s me, not the book” seeing as it’s well loved but it was 3.5 stars for me. The writing is great but the story progressed at a snails pace without anything ever really taking off. You win some, you lose some.

I finished my December PFM (Where the Forest Meets the Stars) earlier this month, but only now posted my review. It obviously took me some time to put my thoughts to print. I enjoyed it but didn't effusively love it. 3.5 Stars. For me, the storyline had 5-star potential, but lacked story development in a few places.
