Awesome! Thanks Janice. I thought that would be the easiest for you to track (as who has time for that?) but always good to double check!
I used tineye, and it is apparently 44.7% magenta. The rest is either black or pink. So I guess the answer is no.
Ok, for street on the cover:
Is the street clear enough to count?
Does suburban count as urban?Thanks!

Hi Janice. When you put
into tineye, does it read red? Can I use it for History Yay 75% red cover please? It's the last in the Women's Murder Club and would be a series kill for me.

For Science - Nay - Musical instrument on the cover - Would the reed flute Menolly is playing be prominent enough, or were you looking for more of a stand alone instrument? Dragonsong
Jenn wrote: "For Science - Nay - Musical instrument on the cover - Would the reed flute Menolly is playing be prominent enough, or were you looking for more of a stand alone instrument? Dragonsong ..."I'm going to say no to this one. It's not prominent enough because it gets lost in the busyness of the cover. I had to really look to see it.
I have the first book to the Pern Series, Dragonflight. I would like to get to that series soon, but it never seems to rise to the top of the pile.
I read a bunch of that series many years ago, and love her writing ❤️ full of strong capable women, without going too far
Jenn, I agree about the women characters, but I loved the dragons and even more, the history of the world and the early settlers that was rolled out in the later stories. I was fascinated for years, waiting for the next books to be published. I totally was in love the Master Bard too. McCaffrey's stories were works of love. I cannot think of one that I did not like. I can still remember reading The White Dragon, which was the first published book. I think my copy fell apart, I read it so many times.

I couldn't agree more Cherie :) Her writing is so all encompassing that you can actually forget that you are reading fiction and get completely immersed in her world - Love, love, love :) Definitely one of the greats for me!

You guys convinced me! These books are now on my TBR! I think I am like 50/50 split on fantasy and lit fic as my favorite genres
Hi Janice - For Science: Yay - The word of one of the following types of spiders is in the title: Wolf, Cellar, Huntsman, Widow, Crab, or Grass. Can I use Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants for the word grass?I think I know the answer, but I so want this book to do double duty for a challenge in my nonfiction nerds group lol
Jayme wrote: "Hi Janice - For Science: Yay - The word of one of the following types of spiders is in the title: Wolf, Cellar, Huntsman, Widow, Crab, or Grass. Can I use [book:Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisd..."Sorry, no. You can use plurals, but not imbedding words.

Fair enough, I will try to find another home for it, and I am sure it will be an interesting read regardless :)
Jenn wrote: "It does, I wonder if the shoes are noticeable enough for that task?"For you, I hope so, Jenn.
If I had not already finished that task, I might have been tempted by your book too.
Jenn wrote: "It does, I wonder if the shoes are noticeable enough for that task?"Go for it! I'll allow it. :)

Entertainment: Yay Task - Read a book that was made into a tv show, tv series, or tv movie.
If a series has been made into a TV show, but they aren't up to that book yet in the TV show but it's being made, would that work?
Eg: The Amber Spyglass is book 3 of His Dark Materials. Books 1 and a bit of 2 are in season 1, there is at least a season 2, which will probably start crossing into book 3 but it's not out until late this year -
