I'm a robot.

I went on your bike-ride, Jackie. Fun!

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I'm glad you liked it, Isaiah. It took a few tries to say something sensible the whole time I was recording. :)

Stephen (stephenT) Ho ho! From the skies a lightning bolt emerges! The beardless Isaiah has claimed his first victim. :-D

I agree. What I do like are those spiral-shaped cinnamon rolls with the nuts. You know, the really cheap-ass ones.

Why the hell wouldn't people wear bike helmets? I sometimes want to stop them and ask, but that might be rude."

Today I saw this father and kid on a bike, the kid who looked about 5 was on one of those attachments

like this

and neither was wearing a helmet. I watched them turn a corner very fast and head off into traffic.

janine | 7709 comments I have never worn a bike helmet.

Butter horns?

Lobstergirl | 24778 comments Mod
No, Janice, I've certainly never heard them called that. But I like the name.

I'm having trouble finding a picture of them. They are about 1 inch high, and spiral. Probably made by a company such as Hostess. Really delicious and probably deadly unhealthy.

message 114: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) This is what we called butterhorns - bought them at the bakery:

The ones I'm thinking of are like this. Probably cost under $1.50 for the package.

I've never heard those called Danish Rollers

message 117: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) Now I want a butterhorn. It's been years and years.

Lobstergirl | 24778 comments Mod
Yeah I've never heard them called Danish Rollers either. Whatever the name or the brand, they probably all come from the same factory. The factory of deliciousness!

message 119: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Little Debbie's are probably made with lard.

No question if you ate these nonstop for 60 days you would drop dead.

message 121: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) But what a way to go.

Oh yeah. I used to eat those all the time.

Especially the big ones. They have a sinful amount of filling.

I prefer a cheese danish to one of those cinnamon rolley things.
Bike helmets are important in lawsuit land the US.

Those bike behind things are very popular in FtC. I've yet to see a person on a bike in Trinidad.

message 127: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Bikes get run down by trucks.
