Earliest time I startet was about 9am, so I think you can start whenever you want to haha

I like the new challenge matching profile pic, Janice. :)It is Thanksgiving here in the US. My husband asked if it was too early for wine about 9am and I thought it was fine. He ended up grabbing coffee instead, but I stand by my early wine approval for holidays.
I also told him it is calorie-free Thursday, so he should chow down. Dessert for breakfast would be fine.
Happy Thanksgiving! Wine for breakfast sounds good. Then nap before turkey. :)

What confuses you about the test, Viji?
There is a question. The answer is in the spoiler. Before you read the spoiler, answer the question and then look at the spoiler to see if you are correct or wrong.
I didn't like to use the word "wrong" throughout the challenge so I've changed the words.
"Yay" means you got the answer correct.
"Nay" means you got it wrong.
I will post the tasks on the weekend. There will be a "Yay" task and a "Nay" task for each question. If you answered the question correctly, you will do the "Yay" task. If you answered incorrectly, you will do the "Nay" task.
Does that clarify it more?
I've finished answering the questions and my percentage is on a par with yours Janice!
I'm curious which questions had the most and least correct answers. If I get very bored during the christmas holidays I might go and investigate.

OMG, Ok, I printed a condensed copy and am about to try. I think I will have a ton of Nays.

Actually, I am doing really well, although some of my wrong answers are embarrassing; I have 65 right so far on the first 22 cards.
That's impressive, Beth. Thats around 50%. You know a lot of random stuff! My wrong answers are embarrassing as well and I don't think I'll even be close to 50%, which is also embarrassing. 🤷♀️
Ya. my yay % was only 39%. And weirdly sports was tied for my best category at 50% correct. I would NOT have thought sports would be a good category for me.
Is anyone else obsessively checking this group, just in case the challenge is posted early, even though it's in the middle of the night in Canada right now and Janice is most certainly asleep?

You all were thinking of me in the middle of the night?Hmmm... that must be why I was dreaming about the challenge. It's a good thing I have another 24 hours (roughly). I'm second guessing whether the badge requirements are going to work.
It's just Friday morning here and Janice is further west than I am, so even earlier for her. If she's waiting for the weekend, we may another whole day to wait. But, yes I'm checking far too often too.

No Renee. You're supposed to answer the questions to the best of your knowledge. Then you check the answers in the spoiler. If you had the answer right, you note down yay. If you had the question wrong, you note down nay.Tomorrow Janice will post the challenge. There will be two tasks for each question, one if you had the question right and one if you had it wrong. So if you have card 1 question 1 correct, you would find a book for the task that goes with yay. If you had it wrong, you can find a book for the task that goes with nay. And the same for all the other questions.

Janice. Is. Amazing. I just got done with the Qs and set up my thread. I can't even begin to imagine how much work Janice has invested in this so far and there's a ton more work I'm sure! Thanks for creating yet another year's challenge. Can't wait to see what's in store for us. It's a good thing this is a four-day weekend! :-)

I ended up getting about 53% Yay :) But sad about having only 10 right in the Art/Litterature category...

Janice! Why are you 8 hours behind me, that's sad :( I would so love to read the tasks now, as I have to work in a few hours and then I have to go to the Christmas Party from work :(
That's just my luck. I see Janice is posting the challenge right now, literally at the very second I promised Rob we would play a board game. Which is fun too, but it's not the 2020 challenge.. Ah well, gophering will come after that!

Thanks a lot, Janice. I got it and would take the test when the Internet stabilizes. Still it is pouring and it is expected to last till 2nd December. I hope I will not be too late to post my test answers. I tried a few cards today but the Internet failed before I could create my thread and post it. I hope to do it soon.
