During Tam al'Thor's fever dream, he mutters some things that make Rand doubt that Tam is truly his father. This feeling is emphasized throughout the book, as people outside of the Two Rivers area are surprised to find out that Rand is from Emond's Field, since his looks belong to a different people. What do you make of that? Who is Rand's dad, if not Tam? Who is Rand's mom?

It is hard to answer some of the questions since I already have read book 1 till 8 and I don't want to giveaway spoilers. But I remember not having any clue about who his parents could be except from which country since they keep telling him he looks like them.
