Mr. Bennet Level: 51+ Books
Today I read:The Secret Betrothal: A Pride and Prejudice Alternate Path:I love this author. I was a bit afraid of who was betrothed and how the story would play out but my fear was unfounded. I loved this book. It was terrific.
Haunting Mr. Darcy - A Spirited Courtship: Another author who can do no wrong. A wonderful story.
Falling for Mr. Darcy: A fave! Another wonderful one.
Darcy's Voyage: A Tale of Uncharted Love on the Open Seas: Another one to love. I can see reading this over and over. I can't wait to get her new book.
That's a lot of reading!!!! Good for you. I read the sample to Mr. Darcy's Rival by Kara Louise and it was really good!!!
Claudine wrote: "That's a lot of reading!!!! Good for you. I read the sample to Mr. Darcy's Rival by Kara Louise and it was really good!!!"I ordered the hard copy of it. It will be here on Tuesday. Hoping to read it this next weekend. I love Kara Louise. So many of my favorite authors are all publishing new books right now.
Claudine wrote: "I know it's awesome!!! Did you read A Marriage Worth Earning?"I haven't. Did you like it?
If you like sequels, volumes 1 & 2 are amazing!!! Some very unique plot lines and an old Darcy flame, which I loved because I always imagined there had to be somebody at least once in his life, right? Ms. Sherwood stopped writing volume 3, but has hopefully agreed to a comeback. She created a private FB page last week titled A Marriage Worth Earning: Volume 3. She will start posting chapters in early June, as she has several completed. I hope lots of us support her comeback, as her series is awesome and pretty long, which I also love!!! Join her page if you're interested...
51.) A Constant Love: A Pride & Prejudice Continuation (Volume 1) by Sophie Turner - didn't post review yet.
No, don't spoil... But the next book , "A Change of Legacies," has about 67 chapters already online. She posts a new chapter about once per week and it was really good too... This is the link to her fanfic page:https://m.fanfiction.net/u/4768193/

It is like Christmas all year!
Sheila wrote: "I love Kara's books. Will have to get this one."Me too! This one missed my radar so I glad you guys brought it up :) I feel like for every book I read I put like 5 more on my list haha.
I feel the same way too... And yet every time I read a JAFF book that I absolutely love, I'm convinced I'll never find one I love as much again... LOL!!!

No kidding, Barbara! Way to go! You're probably going to pass up 75. ;)

It's really up to you, Sheila. You're very welcome to keep posting about what you're reading (I'm nosy and I love to see what people read and think about the book), but not necessary if you'd rather not.

Oh, I can continue to add to my list. - I have continued to post reviews of all. Do people post the non-JAFF? - as I have many of those I read this year but didn't put on the list i.e., As You Wish & Orphan Train.
Yay! Glad you can keep doing your list, Sheila!
You could put the non- Jaff in the 'It's Not Jane Austen' discussion area if you want, but no worries if you choose not, too.

I read my June Challenge book today. An Unwavering Trust: I loved this book and the author. Well written and a different story. If you are looking for a typical variation or do not like when an author changes the basics of Austen characters, you may want to skip it. I found these changes to be some of the things I liked most about it. It was refreshing. (I will put this over in the June Challenge thread too.)
52.) Lady Elizabeth (Everything Will Change book 1) 5 stars53.) An Unwavering Trust 5 stars
54.) So Far Away (Everything Will Change book 2) 3.5 stars
55.) Ardently: a P&P variation 5 stars
56.) Mr. Darcy's Rival 5 stars
Looks like you had a good reading streak there, Sheila. I just noticed Ardently and put it on my list.
Whoohoo, I've just added up my reading total so far this year and I've upgraded to Mr. Bennet Level. So far I've read 53 P&P books and 64 books overall... I still have 953 P&P books on my TBR list. Trying to make a dent on my TBR list is looking harder with new releases coming out each month!
You really have all those JAFF books on your list? I sent you a friend request, hoping I can see your list...
Woohoo, indeed, Dung!
That's impressive! Congrats on making it to the top. It looks like you have a lot to keep you busy, too.
Oh yes, the new releases are such a huge temptation and so worth it.

Wow, Dung. I'd like to see your Pride and Prejudice list. I thought I had every book, but I do not have 1006! I have to see what I am missing.

I was really tired this Saturday so only got one book read! Mr. Darcy's Rival: Loved it. This author can do no wrong.
I have it for this week and its killing me to take my review books in order, Erika, especially after seeing the excitement for her new one. Haha!

The Darcy travel posts for Cat's new book. I've just been reading them. Too fun!
