Book Preview Isn't Showing

Forgive me, I am still getting used to navigating this site. I am trying to get an excerpt to show up for my book. Originally I had uploaded a pdf version but this looked clunky. So I uploaded an epub version and chose to cut it off at 10%. Now there is no preview showing at all. However, when I look at ebook formats it lists both pdf and epub each with zero downloads. I am scratching my head.

Hi Karyna,

I'm sorry for the trouble! We're currently experiencing some trouble with the system that powers our ebook excerpt tool. There are still some ongoing changes to the tool at the moment, and there are a few features (like the percentage excerpter) that are not working as well as we'd like them to. In the meantime we highly recommend using a pre-formatted and pre-excerpted PDF rather than an EPUB file.

You can delete the currently uploaded ebook from the book's "edit details" page, and can upload a PDF from the same page or from your Author Dashboard.

Thanks for responding! I was able to upload a pdf excerpt and the preview button is working.
