The Strange Death of Fiona Griffiths question

Why isn't this book available in the US? I bought it while on holiday in England and recommeded it highly to friends in the States, but they can't get it in print or ebook. Might it have something to do with Hachette being the publisher, and the feud with amazon? That doesn't seem logical but I'm unable to figure it out. Also, the edition I bought is paperback. A mystery, I guess.
