There's a girl (I think she's Asian) who wakes up buried in a shallow grave (I think she was killed by some drunk guy at a party) and she finds out that she can't die. She spends the beginning part of the book recounting all the ways she's tried and failed to die while wandering. One was skateboarding a tree or a pole or something.
She gets nabbed or something like that and meets this boy who also has some supernatural power, though I can't remember what. They end up in this weird culty kind of place trying to escape the guy holding them there.
I believe I read this when I was 16, so about two years ago. I can't remember what kind of cover it had, but it was most likely hardcover.
