so sorry if this is explained elsewhere, but could I remove 2 books from a series? I've decided to release them apart from the series, as standalones! Thank you in advance for your reply and help.

Will they still be related to the other books (characters, setting)?

Not directly (they weren't anyway), but I haven't decided yet about the plot. Is it relevant?

Yes. If they have characters or setting in common they still belong to the series according to GR policy (a series can include standalone books).
