League of Dragons

Robert Jackson Bennett's Divine Cities trilogy is one of my favorites:

Bright We Burn

message 56: by Anshita (new)

Anshita (_book_freak) | 267 comments I'll be reading This Perfect Day by Ira Levin by Ira Levin. I'm a big fan of Levin's work, especially when its a dystopian science-fiction.

message 57: by Shelley (new)

Shelley | 231 comments I read Power Under Pressure, the last book in a Victorian era cyperpunk superhero trilogy that takes itself way too seriously. I've dragged this book across the country a few times for about 5 years and have finally finished it. If anyone is intrigued, definitely go with the first one and then just let it go.

message 58: by Paula webb (new)

Paula webb | 2 comments I read the umbrella mouse which I borrowed from my daughter. It’s set in ww2, a lovely read.

Renee Read An American Marriage by Tayari Jones - so good, so sad

message 60: by Sherri (new)

Sherri | 5 comments I used this prompt to re-start the Chronicles of Narnia Series with The Magician's Nephew

message 61: by Claire (new)

Claire (lecari) | 26 comments I decided to not count books with 'The' in the title as that makes it a bit too easy :)

I went with Tangled in Ivy, by Ashley Farley. But I've read a few books this year that would count:
- A Thoughtful Woman and In Implacable Woman by K T Findlay
- Dead Woman Scorned by Michael Clark (2nd in a series)
- Just My Luck by Adele Parks
- Daylight's Deadly Kiss, by Jay Raven (2nd in a series)
- When Darkness Begins, by Tina O'Hailey
- Heir to Lies and Queen to Ashes by Mallory McCartney
- At Death's Door, an anthology by Pixie Forest Publishing

Tangled in Ivy by Ashley Farley A Thoughtful Woman (The Sally Mellors Adventures Book 1) by K.T. Findlay Daylight's Deadly Kiss (Blood Riders, #2) by Jay Raven Dead Woman Scorned (The Patience of a Dead Man #2) by Michael Clark Just My Luck by Adele Parks When Darkness Begins by Tina O'Hailey Heir to Lies (Black Dawn #1) by Mallory McCartney Queen to Ashes (Black Dawn, #2) by Mallory McCartney At Death's Door by Elizabeth Joyce
