Hello everyone! I've been reluctant to post here since I am new to this whole world, but here I am!

My debut novel, JAKE HOWARD: MULTIVERSE 101, is the first of a planned series (I already have book 2 and parts of book 3 mapped out in my head). I struggled for years to try and write but nothing ever stuck. Finally, while working at a soul-crushing job (where I thankfully no longer work) my muse struck and a novel came out.

A little about my book:

In ninth grade Jake Howard was on a field trip to Mohonk Mountain and he discovered a strange portal. It was gone in a flash but it never left his memory.

A few years later, in 1997, Jake is a junior at SUNY New Paltz and rooming with his best friend Scott. On his way to class he bumps into Beth. She's brooding, mysterious and Jake is instantly drawn to her despite Scott's warning that he gets a weird vibe from here.

Beth may also have a tie to that strange portal from years ago...

I grew up in the area where my book takes place and once I had the time frame and location the words just started pouring out of my fingers.
