Bernard Smith | 3030 comments An interesting option. I think it will have to be just half a slice of toast for breakfast ....

Maybe you could eat cake?

message 153: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments Ha ha! As suggested by Marie Antoinette? But surely cake would have harmful sugar and fat.

message 154: by Grasshopper, Administrator (new)

Grasshopper Bot (daisyking) | 6902 comments Mod
Well then , just have virtual cake!

message 155: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments Ha ha! Perhaps.

My new diet ....

Breakfast: A bowl of celery flakes.
Lunch: A celery crispbread sandwich.
Dinner: Braised celery au gratin.

It most certainly does!

message 164: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments I should point out that, if I was offered Australian citizenship, I would be honoured to accept.

Australia would be honored by your presence.

message 166: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments There are potential problems with dual citizenship, but if I am expelled from UK, I will relocate down under.

More than 30,000 batteries supplied power during California’s recent electricity crisis. Experts say the machines will become even more important because utilities, businesses and homeowners are investing billions of dollars in them. https://t.co/pmPK0dlgaH

What possible subversive activities are you engaged in Mod to qualify for an expulsion??

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments Grasshopper wrote: "What possible subversive activities are you engaged in Mod to qualify for an expulsion??"

None! But you know how glorious leaders, like Boris, are .... it is unwise to upset them. Even Australia would be better than a Shetland gulag.

message 170: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments Batteries have made tremendous strides recently. Even tiny ones are jam packed with coulombs. A far cry from the first one, invented by Mister Volta.

Grasshopper Bot (daisyking) | 6902 comments Mod
What??? You don't seem to think much about Australia if you're comparing it to that! Citizenship application revoked!!!

message 172: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments Calm down dear GB! I am just joking. Australia is rightly known as the land of plenty (as in the song).

Who's says I'm Aussie? I'm just a bot talking to a man.. asking him to be good... ;)

message 176: by Ian (new)

Ian Miller | 269 comments If you are going to use batteries to fix the electric grid issues olf widespread use of solar panels, there won't be enough cobalt, or even maybe lithium produced to provide for electric vehicles. An alternative is needed.
