Chapter(s): 11, 12, and 13

These chapters confused me because when he saw a vision of Muhammad, he disowns his family. To me this doesn't make sense because my family has always come first, and it will always be that way. Malcolm has turned his life around for the better, he has realized that you can do good after a bad beginning.

Do you think that Malcolm will "keep it up," or will he realize that he turned his life around and he can just sit back and relax?

How else will Malcolm change in the coming years? How has he changed so far?
