Age: Equivalent to 50 in human years

Appearance: Vespidae has a mainly-yellow body with thick, black bands that wrap around her body in almost perfect circles (That is, they would have had not been Vespidae been well...dragon-shaped). Dark bands across her face accentuate her features, making her by default look like she is displeased with something more than her face would have already shown without the lines. Vespidae looks old for her age, but despite that and her displeased expression, she has a naturally beautiful to her, if a little bit ferocious-looking (ok, a lot bit). When she is in a pleasant mood, and it is clear on her face, the face-lines actually accentuate that as well. Any positive expression between the unpleasant mood and the happy mood looks out of place on her face. She has red scales on her talons, and orange-yellow scales almost too feint to see unless you go up real close make the letter M on her forehead.
Personality: Vespidae at first glance has what one might call a "waspish" personality (Quite fitting, given that her name is the family that includes wasps). She generally has a negative opinion of people on first meet, and has a nasty habit of analyzing a stranger for a long period of time when she must acknowledge their presence. When angered, she is vicious, but never loses control. If she decides to strike someone, it would never be in the spur of the moment, unless someone was in danger. She also looks like that stereotypical librarian who takes pleasure in shushing people and fining them for overdue material and damage. She also has high expectations for anyone she has entrusted with a favor or a job, and almost only chooses the very best for whatever she needs done. However, this mask hides a deeper, softer side. She is surprisingly good with children if given the chance, and her mask of anger and displeasure is only to help her cope with emotions too strong for her.
Backstory: Vespidae at first was a loyal supporter of Wasp along with her family, but one day at the age of 5, she had seen her grandfather killed as HiveWing controlled by Wasp for an offense Vespidae did not know. After that, she did everything to keep Wasp from noticing her, which was rather difficult given that she was a normal HiveWing who had both injections of Wasp's venom. Vespidae had two children, the youngest of which had fallen in love with someone Vespidae did not approve of. She was going to ask Wasp not to approve of the match, but her daughter was faster and the match was approved. Out of spite, Vespidae threw her daughter and son-in-law out of her house. A fatal mistake. Vespidae's youngest daughter and son-in-law were caught in the crossfire of a rebel gang and Wasp's guards and were killed, believed to have been part of the gang. Vespidae never forgave herself for that, blaming herself for her youngest daughter's death. One day, Wasp had decided that her family had gotten too powerful and was going to have them killed. She had them imprisoned in Bloodworm Hive to be transported to a more suitable location. When Bloodworm Hive was attacked by LeafWings, Vespidae managed to survive, being dragged out by her eldest daughter, but her parents and spouse had been killed as the Hive burned. Vespidae, her eldest daughter, and her son-in-law were on the run, thinking that as long as Wasp thought they had also been killed as the hive collapsed, they would be safe. They met a SandWing, and they became friends. The Sandwing helped them escape from Wasp's army many times, and once Vespidae's family was allowed safely back in the Hives, the SandWing was allowed to name Vespidae's daughter's unhatched dragonet. Tragedy struck when loyalists to Queen Wasp attacked Vespidae's household. Vespidae managed to survive, and kill most of their attackers, but the SandWing and Vespidae's son-in-law were killed in the struggle. Vespidae's daughter tried to run away with the egg, but two other loyalists attacked her and she lost the egg in the struggle. Vespidae hurried her daughter to the hospital, but there wasn't anything anyone could do and Vespidae's daughter died. Vespidae was sure that her daughter's egg had been smashed, after she searched in vain for it. Once she returned to the Hives, she resumed her work as a librarian. She understood the value that scrolls and books had wanted to make sure they were around for years. In her mind, the only thing that could comfort her was books and scrolls, and she became a writer.

}{History: Tyson was born on November 7th, and his father died when he was just a young hatchling. This caused his mother to become strictly overbearing on her son, causing him to grow up to become a hypochondriac. He's constantly worrying. Because of Tyson's asthma and other such health issues, he carries an inhaler, pills, and other medications in his fanny pack.
Currently he is apart of a group with his friends called "The Losers Club". They go around and explore, protecting each other.
Tyson, on the other talon, constantly flies back to Pantala. His mother doesn't even know he leaves for Pyrrhia. So that's a big secret he's keeping.

Appearance: Bluebird's scales are a mixture of blues and some yellow near her bright green eyes, making them stand out more. Her wing membranes are yellow and her antenna and wings are a darker blue than the rest of her body. If she is angry, tense or feels like a situation is highly unfair her wings will shake and she will crouch lower to the ground, as if getting ready to pounce.

Personality: Bluebird is feisty, determined, and very good at ‘figuring out’ dragons. She has lots of ideas and will not hesitate to rush into danger to protect a dragon. She has no respect for any dragon that is stuck-up, a bully, or just plain rude or mean. Bluebird is very inquisitive and does not hesitate to ask questions. She does have a hot temper that sometimes causes her to act without thinking. When Bluebird feels like life is beating her up a bit, she will go outside and yell to the sky, "IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO?!?!?!?!" or "I AM THE UNSTOPPABLE IRIS!!!! YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME!!!!!" or something crazy like that. She does get a few strange looks every now and then but she doesn't care - usually.
Backstory: Bluebird was hatched in Pantala and her and her mum, dad, and older brother Clipper lived near lake scorpion for two years. They then moved to Pyrrhia and moved into Sanctuary.
Abilities: Regular silk and antenna - although she can make very dark coloured silk as well as regular white or gray.
Likes: going to JMA, mangoes, exploring with her friends, meeting scavengers...um I mean humans, the library and JMA, sloths, rain/ rainstorms, flying and BEING AWESOME!!!!!
Dislikes: lying, being treated like she’s ‘too young’, being stuck inside, raw fish and dragons who are stuck up or just plain rude.

Sorry, my earlier post might not have been clear. Your character can have standard abilities for that tribe (As in, Silkwing has silk, can sense movement with antenna, etc.), unless you want them to not have those abilities. If she already has those, then you're fine. :)

And just in case it was not clear, Firefly: Bluebird Approved, but there is one part where you might have missed an 'Iris' when editing it. the "I am the unstoppable Iris" part. Other than that she is good to go, and it is a very minor thing.

Backstory )) He was looked down on because he looks really different from other dragons, he loathes those who think that appearance is equal to social standing, rank, deserving, etc. His parents were killed during a raid searching for hybrids (Him and his family looked really different) when he was nine, leaving him and his unhatched sister to fend for themselves. His sister was hatched with melanism, and was dragon-napped when he was eleven (Probably because she was pretty), so now he's alone again.

Backstory )) She was born on an island in dragonfly bay (around the tail), her dad was a silkwing and mother a rainwing, they lived on their own and her parents disappeared a year ago in a hurricane. Dawn doesn't know if they are alive or dead, but has accepted the worst. She dreams of going to the mainland, but can't as her wings aren't grown yet, so she stays on her island.
Abilities )) She is mainly purple with golden swirls, but can change color for a maximum of a hour if she stays concentrating. For some reason the only area on her that won't change color is her antennae. She doesn't have venom, and can spin pale purple silk for 10 minutes at a time. Her antennae work like silkwing antennae work.

Personality: normally very friendly and kind and they are aware of their dangerous tail and always tries to keep others safe, they are easily scared by others and only fights back to defend themselves or a friend
