Backstory: her parents met in Pantala, her mother, Rain, wanted to explore Pantala so she left the rainwing village and flew over the sea. She landed in Pantala where she met Nighshade, a Poisonwing. He was moving to the Sapwing village because he didn't belive in killing all the Hivewings. They met, and with his leafspeak they created a special space for the two of them to live and take care of there dragonet, who they named Leafchange in honor of her parentage.

Appearance: Loom is a tall, graceful-looking silkwing, with shades of purple that change throughout her body. She has a light purple underbelly that in the right lighting appears to be speckled with silvery-purple scales and large purple wings tinted with blue at the edges.
Backstory: Loom grew up with two Silkwing parents who worked as construction workers. She went to school with her best friend Wisha and after getting her wings became a maid for a wealthy hivewing in Jewel Hive

Banyan is a thin, medium green LeafWing with dark green overscales, and a light tan underbelly. His frill (that covers the gap between each of his spines) is a light green, his spines and horns being a dark green with an odd two stripe tan-over-green pattern. He has weak green wings, with four tan stripes that spread out from a circle, each with a dark green line (or dot in the case of the circle) in the middle. He looks rather healthy(aside from his wings), though he often sports dark eye circles from late nights up. He has a rather gentle face, that looks like it wouldn't be able to hurt a fly, and has slightly-larger-than-usual green eyes.

Distinguishing Features: The patterns on his wings (dark green stripes over light tan ones), his spines (two stripes of a light green and light tan over dark green spines)
Accessories: He usually can be found wearing a large dark brown pouch, in which he carries his plans and paper (and ink, of course)

Personality: Bayan is a happy, ambiverted dragon who does his best to be optimistic. He's an extremely relaxed and easygoing dragon, and many find getting along with him easy (though definitely not all) Though he has a lot of pressure on his shoulders, being the sole architect for the New Village Project (for now) he does his best to manage his stress in a healthy way. Due to the pressure he's put upon himself he often forgets to talk to others about his more negative feelings, often talking them out with an inanimate object (or just himself) He's also usually very gentle, and only a few select people have seen him do an act of aggression.

Ooh those flowers are- NEVER MIND, RUN!!

Backstory: Bayan hatched the year after the LeafWings returned to Pantala, to his two SapWing mothers. When he was 2, he ventured out into the forest on his own for the first time while his mothers weren't watching. He hadn't recieved any of the training or knowledge on the poisonous plants in Pantala yet, and somehow managed to sneak out past the town's borders. What he found would forever change his life, as he was an idiotic 2 year-old baby dragon all alone in a forest full of things that wanted to kill you. Within seconds of being in the forest, he managed to find a poisonous bush full of berries (and eat it) and get caught in the mouth of a venus dragon-trap. Unfortunately the two things he found worked against him, the berries paralyzing him and the dragon trap beginning to attempt to eat away at him. He was found hours later, his wings extremely wounded. Fortunately, they managed to save his wings, but they were always much weaker than most. The next year, his sister hatched. After his wings were injured, he took up learning how to build things and architecture to pass the time, and eventually became very good at it. When he was offered a chance to build a new village for the tribe, he jumped at it. He now resides in a treehouse in the New LeafWing village that he designed.

History: Ivy was born in the New Leafwing village, and like many dragonets her age she has Leafspeak. Her mother, Evergreen, was a Sapwing and moved to the New Leafwing village after the Breath of Evil was destroyed. Her father Oleander, a Poisonwing, did the same. Ivy spends her time exploring with her sister and training with her Leafspeak

Gender: Female
Appearance: Laurel has medium-green scales (which she passed down to her son), with golden-tan under scales that make their appearance well known on the top of her head, creating a ring that ends behind her horns. Her neck has two golden stripes that begin at her frills, and connect and fade between her wings. Her flank has been scarred from a rogue LeafWing that belonged to neither sub-tribe, showing more golden-tan under scales.
Personality: Laurel wants the best for her son, even if she does appear strict at times. Especially after the jungle-incident, she has been very protective of her son, but she has learned to allow him to be more independent. Laurel is kind to most people, and does not easily hold a grudge for long, but can be a little nutty at times (how ironic).
Backstory: Laurel was a loyal dragon to Queen Sequoya from infancy. She was part of the army that was formed in the event the PoisonWings attacked. She was accused of treason and exiled from the village and immediately turned away by the PoisonWings, so she was left wandering Pantala. She was just out of range of the breath of evil, so she managed to keep her identity secret and stay our of Queen Wasp's power. Once the threat of the HiveWings was diminished, a messenger was dispatched that pardoned Laurel. She returned home and had dragonets (see Bayan and Daffodil).
Abilities: Physical: Normal LeafWing abilities. Acquired: Taking care of dragonets, playing the guitar, great singing voice.

Tribe: LeafWing (PoisonWing)
Appearance: Large for his age, Baobab has dark-green scales, with milk-chocolate-brown scales that mostly appear on his torso. He has some brown scales that are specked on his snout like freckles and blotches on his tail and limbs.
Personality: Baobab can be overly modest, but will praise other people for their accomplishments. He wants to help other people, but can get easily confused whenever someone says something that he thinks is wrong, but doesn’t know which is right.
Backstory (according to Laurel): Baobab was out with his mother and father when her mother tripped and fell into a Venus-Fly trap. His father tried to save her, but didn’t succeed. He ended up falling into a waterwheel. Neither survived. Luckily Baobab survived and Lauren scooped him up and walked to the PoisonWing village. Laurel and Baobab were both dismissed, the PoisonWings didn’t believe that Baobab was an orphan. Baobab was take in by Laurel and raised in secret before Queen Sequoia found out. Sequoia allowed Laurel to raise Baobab.
Abilities: Physical: Normal LeafWing abilities. Acquired: Learning to be a healer, learning voice and guitar from his adopted mother.

Gender: Female
Appearance: Mostly bright-sand-yellow scales with some red-and-black scales scattered across her body in leopard patterns with some tiger patterns on her neck and tail. Red scales make blotches on her talons, which is why she is sometimes mistaken for a murderer. There are also pale-orange-almost-yellow scales that vaguely make the letter M on her forehead.
Personality: Bastet is incredibly independent and is a decent leader. She can be bossy and a bit short-tempered and violent, but has remorse for those she has hurt and wants to make things better. She really wants to change her ways, but needs help. She will also be loyal to her closest friends.
Backstory: Family was murdered by an unknown dragon a little while after she was named. She was named Bastet because her family was friends with a SandWing. As Bastet had no more living relatives that was known, and the SandWing was dead, she was raised by multiple dragons in the Hives. She was the longest with a HiveWing that taught her some acrobatic skills. Bastet now has an idea to create a traveling circus, and is advertising for people to join.

Appearance: Mostly dark-green scales with red-brown scales that pop up in large patches, especially on his neck, upper part of his limbs, flank, and tail. He is sometimes mistaken for having a whole bunch of large cuts on himself, which is why he is a regular patient in the infirmary. Gray eyes that can turn the same dark-green color of his scales if in improper light.
Personality: Redwood can be a little incompetent and clumsy. He is mostly kindhearted and loyal (when he is competent), and wants the best for his family. He also is a fierce fighter and can get rather nutty at times (or should I say, coney).
Backstory: Redwood was brought up by loving parents, who had high expectations however. He had given up trying to fully please them, so his parents lied about his age and had him hired for the team of dragons that took care that the carnivorous plants didn't invade the city. He wants to be a builder, but he is told he wouldn't be hired. His parents are considering sending him to JMA, but so far action has not been taken (yet).

Appearance Pale green scales with yellow-tan highlights on his wings, tail, neck, and limbs. Strong build with multiple scars. Dark-brown eyes with yellow highlights. Larger-than-normal wings.
Personality: Oleander is a natural leader and a loving father. He can get a little overprotective, but like Ivy, he doesn’t get angry easily and when he does, it usually doesn’t end well. He also has remorse on those he has killed when he was in the PoisonWing village as a young dragon.
Backstory: Oleander grew up with the teachings of the PoisonWings. He was sent on missions to kill, but he was a lousy assassin. Those he did kill upon orders he still cannot get them out of his head. When his remorse was unbearably, he escaped the PoisonWing village and tried to give himself over to the HiveWings (he couldn’t) and he decided to take on the task of mapping Pantala. He was out of range of the Breath of Evil.

Backstory: Moonflower’s Mother, Brightstar, ran away from Pyrrhia since she didn’t feel accepted in her tribe and she had no one to talk to. Moonflower’s father, Snakeroot, was the same way. He was born to the poisonwing and was the son of a respected Leafwing, but he still didn’t feel wanted. So one day Brightstar was sobbing in the Poison jungle and Snakeroot heard her. Then he saved her from a carnivorous plant that was behind her. They fell in love and had three dragonets. The firstborn was Moonflower. She was born under the light of the moons while the others were born under the light of the sun. Moonflower became a scientist and studied everything she would find interesting. She would read the scrolls that her mother had brought from Pyrrhia and books that her father brought from the Poisonwing’s camp. She had a happy life with her parents and her siblings, Deadlyclaw and Wisteria. To her, everything was perfect and she never wanted anything else….until one day. A mysterious dragon came flying down from the sky and into their cave near beetle lake. It was Mother’s brother Darkchaser. He had told Moonflower’s mother that they need her back, There was a terrible war happening and The Nightwings were losing. That next day mother flew off with Darkchaser. She said she goodbyes and said she would be back no matter what….But she never did. WIth the grief of losing his mate, Moonflower’s father took him back to the poisonwing, but they didn’t want to see him or his “disgraced” dragonets. Moonflower could hear their awful thoughts about death to her father and to them too. She wished she didn’t have that power. He then begged the Queen of the Sapwings to let them stay in their camp. Thankfully, they were more merciful than the Poisonwings. Moonflower became the scientist of the Sapwings, and she was determined to find out how to get to her mother’s land and find her.

Appearance: Pearlescence will have pearl-pink scales and pearl-lavender scales speckled across her face like freckles (do not ask me why half my dragons have freckles). Yellow scales on her talons and speckled highlights on her wing buds (that are like two large pearls). Her neck has a couple of lavender scales Her eyes are dark grey and shining.
Abilities: Normal SilkWing abilities, Acquired: will have persuading and jewelry-making skills.
Backstory: Pearlescence's parents died when their home collapsed a few days before she was expected to hatch. Builders have not yet started the re-building, but have searched the wreckage, only to find the bodies of her parents and presumed Pearlescence to be dead. Pearlescence managed to survive the disaster, how, nobody knew.
Personality: Pearl will be very demanding, but will like anyone she meets. She also understands her parents are gone (very interesting for someone not yet hatched), but will wander around looking for them.

Backstory: was raised as a dragonet to fight and kill and always tried to impress her parent, Birch and Snare. Learned to hate the HiveWings unless they seem helpful. Always won battles and never backed down. Was sent away on a mission to find hope for the LeafWings and has been ever since.
