Trailblazer was walking through the forest, watching her path carefully. Her pale pink/purple wings were closed so tightly against her body, like usual. She inspected a blue frog sitting happily on the underside of a branch quizzically before adding that to one of her lists.
Shadow had taken some time away from the others he needed to be alone but he noticed another Nightwing. "Hello?" He said quite quickly, and softly.
"Ack!" Trailblazer jumped, but kept her wings tethered to her, "I- um, hello?" She said, shaking her head, "Sorry, I just wasn't expecting any dragonets to be around here." She said, even though she didn't seem much older than him, just a year or two.
"Your okay. I come out here to marvel at nature's beauty. As well as get away from my friends." He mumbled the last part.
"Same here. Well, I guess it's also my job, too." Trailblazer told him, "I'm Trailblazer, I run the Trail Foundation."
Trailblazer blinked at him, "Are you sure? You're pretty small for a traveler, no offence." She says, "If you couldn't tell, I'm albino, so I don't usually hang around the Nightwing villages, if you're wondering why we've never met."
"I travel with a good friend of mine." He mentally took a sigh of relief. "He's a veteran of the great war." Shadow took note of the Albino Nightwing. "Hey that's pretty cool." He smiled.
"Thank goodness, I thought that might've been one of those Nightwings who're always like, 'Nobody can be different, all of us must be exactly the same.' but I'm glad you're not, they're terrible conversationalists." Trailblazer laughed, "Yeah, unless it makes you hated by an entire tribe." Trailblazer said, and she laughed, accidentally jostling her wings and she winced.
"Are you okay?" Shadow asked he took notice of the twinge of pain on Trailblazer's face. "And also I know how it feels to be hated by the entire tribe."
"It's lovely, isn't it?" She said dryly, and did not acknowledge his previous question. She needed a whole lot less dragons to know about her wings if she was ever going to be considered 'normal'.
He picked up on the sarcasm, "Kinda for the same reason you were but because I am not a full Nightwing myself." He said going invisible.
"Now that is pretty cool. I don't know what you were thinking when you said my scales were cool." Trailblazer said, "Could we walk and talk? I've got to make my rounds, with or without friends." She said, smiling still.
Trailblazer resumed her trail, following the talon marks that she had made two days ago. And the two days before that. And the two days before that. She smiled at Shadow, "It's great to know that I'm not totally in vain. Did you come to see the trails or something?" She asked, kind of hoping he had, but knowing he probably hadn't.
"Really? That's a first." Trailblazer muttered, "Well, you're looking at the dragon who made them! I've been mapping out the entire forest for..." She trailed off, not wanting to count how many years, "A while." She said, smiling.
"Thanks." Trailblazer said, "Anyways, it's a way for dragons to enjoy the forest from the ground, rather than from the air. I am the only dragon who ever uses them, but I'm hoping if I do well enough that I'll attract more attention. It's not particularly working, but I've got nothing else to do, so I'm here."
((Morning!))"Something like that." Trailblazer murmured, peering at another blue frog on the underside of another branch. She frowned at it and put another mark on her scroll.
"Oh, yeah, there's the kingfisher nest!" Trailblazer said in a lowered voice, as to not scare the bird returning to the bramble of twigs nestled into the tree branch.
"I've been through all the Kingdoms." Shadow said he saw a green frog hop along. "The only kingdom I've never Been inside is the sand Kingdom."
((Got any murders loose that could spice things up?))"Really? I would've expected that you've been there, it's quite large." Trailblazer said.
((Yep, that sounds about right for her lol))"Well, that's pretty cool!" Trailblazer said, smiling at Shadow, "Left or right?" She asked once they ended up at a cross in the path.
Trailblazer nods and starts down the path, continuing to walk perfectly silently. She squints into the forest, wondering why she felt like she was being watched.
Alaya was watching them both Hoping to get shadow alone but she would kill both of them if She had to."You got the feeling were being watched." Shadow said Quietly.
"Yep." Trailblazer said, but continued walking. "This way." She muttered, nudging Shadow off the path. "Be ready to fly in case something happens." She told him. She was thinking over various animals that could be in the forest. A lot of them were powerful enough to be fatal, but she knew her way around the forest floor, including where certain animals lived.
He nodded, "I should let you know the last time i saw spike he had someone after him." he followed her.
"Yikes." Trailblazer said, "What'd ya'll do, kill someone?" She joked dryly, making sure not to make any noise.
"No She doesn't know spike has no bounty" Shadow had barely finished his sentence before Alaya Landed On Trailblazer."Hey Little Hybird." she sneered.
Trailblazer shrieked, she had not expected a dragon to be tracking them. Her claws were mostly useless, but being kind of small was useful, and she slithered out from under Alaya, breathing hard as she assessed the situation.
Alaya was a small Skywing dragon. "I see you have a friend. I'll kill her first.""NO" Shadow tried to Attack Alaya But she just stabbed him.
Trailblazer had no sort of fighting experience, and didn't want to be a hindrance to Shadow, so she did the only thing that could have possibly helped, and ran. She knew the forest better than any dragon, and Alaya didn't need to know she couldn't fly.
Trailblazer saw the flicker of the color of Alaya's scales through the trees and rushed back to Shadow. "Are you alright?" She asked, hoping she hadn't just killed him.

“Alright alright!”
She glances around for a second, then decides to hide in a hole under the tree.
She covered her snout at an attempt to stop her giggles.
