DECEMBER '19 SERIAL READER CHALLENGE

December is Write a Friend Month


TO PARTICIPATE:

♦Pick five series that you want to read.

♦It can be a new or an on-going series.

♦Post the name of the series and the covers of at least two books that you have not read.

♦There must be at least two unread books in the series. No re-reads allowed.

♦You may re-post a series chosen before as long as there are at least two unread books.

♦Post series now through November 20th.

♦Pairs will be posted on November 21st.

♦Select a series for your partner between November 21st and 25th.

♦Next month, read two (or more) books from the series selected for you.

Thanks for the selection. Coincidentally, I met Ellen Byron last weekend at Cozy Con, so it will be nice to dive back into her stories.

Your choices are hard as well. I am intrigued by the Barb Jackson mysteries, and have to start the Hamish Macbeth ones myself, but, my choice for you will be the Sarah Winston Garage Sale mysteries by Sherry Harris. I have read ARCs of the most recent two in the series and totally enjoyed them, and I hope you will, too!

Linda, your "roaring 20s to get ready for the roaring 20s" idea was brilliant. I spent today putzing around and listening to Phryne on audio, and knocked out two of them. Of course, i was so taken with them I bought three others AND Sara Rosett's roaring 20s series as well, so Mt. Tbr isn't any better off..... LOL. But I have more Phryne to listen to and I'm looking forward to it!

Finished my first book for the month, A Christmas Return. I love how short these are and that you get a closer glimpse at a more minor character in the series.

I finished my first one this morning Once Upon a Spine by Kate Carlisle and as usual from Ms Carlisle a great giggle of a story with one heck of an ending!

Looks like I may finish my first book sometime tonight after dinner. I am down to 48 pages. I will be charging my Nook during dinner and back reading after honey ham, sweat potatoes, pineapple stuffing, and an amazing jello salad that was my late brother's favorite.
