Thank you, Cynthia! Loved your pun about the 'doggone choices'...I didn't even realize how dog-centric my list was. 🐕 😄
Helen, I'm a fan of Mary Daheim, but I haven't read any of her stuff in a while. So I'm picking her B&B series for you. Happy holiday reading!

Jennifer, thanks! I've read other Ellery Adams, but not the Pie Shoppe books. Looking forward to it.

      Gary and Barbara -
Sorry you missed the deadline. The dates have not been consistent each month. If you'd like to post series and pick for each other, that's fine with me.

BarbaraTough choice. It is hard to go wrong with Lynn Cahoon or MC. Beaton. I need to get started on the Hannah Swenson series.
However, the Cajun Country looks interesting, so I choose that series for you.
Hi, Gary,Thanks for the selection. Coincidentally, I met Ellen Byron last weekend at Cozy Con, so it will be nice to dive back into her stories.
Your choices are hard as well. I am intrigued by the Barb Jackson mysteries, and have to start the Hamish Macbeth ones myself, but, my choice for you will be the Sarah Winston Garage Sale mysteries by Sherry Harris. I have read ARCs of the most recent two in the series and totally enjoyed them, and I hope you will, too!
Thanks I really enjoyed the first two books in the series. I have books 3-5 on my Nook and still need to pick up books 6 and 7.

Linda, your "roaring 20s to get ready for the roaring 20s" idea was brilliant. I spent today putzing around and listening to Phryne on audio, and knocked out two of them. Of course, i was so taken with them I bought three others AND Sara Rosett's roaring 20s series as well, so Mt. Tbr isn't any better off..... LOL. But I have more Phryne to listen to and I'm looking forward to it!Done:

I must admit I was influenced by my friend who said “let’s watch Downton Abbey on New Year’s Eve to get ready for the ‘20’s” and you gave me the perfect opportunity with your book choices.
Finished my first book for the month, A Christmas Return. I love how short these are and that you get a closer glimpse at a more minor character in the series.

Looks like I may finish my first book sometime tonight after dinner. I am down to 48 pages. I will be charging my Nook during dinner and back reading after honey ham, sweat potatoes, pineapple stuffing, and an amazing jello salad that was my late brother's favorite.
