Hey Daniel, steal my opinions anytime. I'm happy to have someone to hide behind when someone doesn't like them. ; )
Jenny made an excellent point when she talked about them exchanging one bad situation for another in the end - with regard to how the kids would be treated. No more camps - but reservations/specified areas where they would live? Sounds like the same sort of thing to me. I'm actually kind of glad they didn't resolve that. It was enough that we just got to the end of things as it was.
I was too, Jen, and it reminds me a little of Mockingjay in the end...they were basically trading one evil dictator for another, and Katniss finally realized this. True, President Coin was not nearly as evil as Snow, but still.
This ending to In The Afterlight basically does the same thing, and is one of the things that made this feel very realistic to me.

And I have to agree with Jen and Daniel about all the fighting between Ruby and Liam, and Liam and Cole, and Ruby and Nico... Especially Ruby and Liam. It was slow and it took me forever to get through it. The last 100 pages made up for it and then some!
Actually it picked up for me when Zu did the interview.
While things don't get completely resolved with the government, at least Chubs is going to help with the resolution.
And Chubs and Vida! Most unlikely but BEST pairing ever!!
Really loved this series!!
