Name: Sula

Tribe: Seawing-Icewing hybrid

Gender: Female

Age: 7

Abilities: Sula can breath underwater for up to 30 minutes and can breathe a weak frostbreath, though her throat will hurt afterwards. She has weak eyesight, due to the combination of a SeaWing's ability to see in the dark and an IceWing's ability to see in bright light. She is slightly more resistant to cold temperatures than most dragons, though nowhere near as resistant as IceWings.

Personality: Sula seems, at first to be a joyful, happy hybrid who sees the best in the world, but once you get to know her, you'll realize that she is quick to anger, and often acts rude to others without realizing it. She is protective of her friends and family, and doesn't let others hurt them. Sula isn't fantastic with helping others feel better, and tends to make comments that are less then helpful.

Appearance: Sula is a thin hybrid with the build of a SeaWing and dull spikes that run up and down her back, each with a thin and easily broken web in between each other. She has a thin tail that ends in a cluster of sharp spikes. Her feet have small webs between her talons. She has the wings of a SeaWing, and blue and white swirls that go along her body, with light tinges of pink from her IceWing father.

Name: Aloe Vera
Nickname : vera

Tribe: Sandwing

Gender: Female

Status: Citizen/Scorpion Den Merchant/Part Time Assassin

Age: 10 in Dragon Years (Almost 11)

Personality: Aloe Vera is a regular Scorpion Den merchant, with the rather odd side job of being a high-class assassin. She acts very kind to the dragons she meets, and will often offer fruit or water to young orphaned dragons. She's a slow, but stealthy assassin, taking her time to get to know the victim, all while preparing to murder them. She will carefully review each target before accepting a mission, doing her best to only accept targets she deems "okay".

Appearance: Vera is a tall, thin SandWing with a long tail and long legs. She's fairly athletic, and appears to be in good shape. Her scales are light tan and her left wing has a tattoo in the shape of an aloe vera leaf. She often will wear jewelry, and changes the earrings and necklaces she wears often. She wears a spiky tail band with Aloe Vera leaves carved into it that come off and can be used as poisonous daggers.

Abilities: Has a poisonous bard on end of tail that can kill. Can survive for long periods of time without food or with little food. Has good hearing and smell and can breath fire

Backstory: Vera grew up a Scorpion Den orphan from the war who never had knew her parents. She grew up on the streets of the Scorpion Den before Thorn came to power with a tight group of friends who called themselves the "Nest Of Scorpions". They taught her how to pickpocket and steal food, and gradually, she taught herself how to become an assassin, one of the best ones out there. Eventually, the group scattered, each of them finding their own calling. Vera became a Merchant using the money she had gotten from being an Assassin, and settled down in the better area of the Scorpion Den with a stall that she opened.
After the war ended, Vera managed to stay afoot, but moved to a smaller home in a different neighborhood to save money.

Family: Her Dad is a RainWing while her Mom is a SandWing. But she died soon after she laid Nile’s egg.
Gender: Female
Abilities: venom fire thing. Whenever she breathes fire, bits of RainWing venom come out too. Her barb.
Personality: Shy, doesn’t like to talk or get into fights on purpose. Though, if she ever does fight a dragon, it’s most likely to save a friend. She get tired often, whenever she sleeps she feels better and re-freshed.

Appearance: Looks like a Sandwing, she has a tail barb at the end of her tail like many SandWings. She usually has her scales as a sandy brown color, like they should be. Except, she can change the color of her scales when she wants too. She can’t do it as well as a normal RainWing. She usually can’t completely hide herself, but she can look like other dragons by changing her scales. Her scales don’t change from her emotions.

Short History: Was born on the edge of the desert and near the rainforest. Her Mom found the secret tunnel and met her Dad. hey fell in love and eventually had Nile. She never got to know her Mom. And her Dad didn’t want to make her grow up in the rainforest feeling like a outcast because of her looks. So, he sent her to the Scorpion Den. There she became an Outlaw. She is loyal to Thorn. But, if it involves any of her friends or family, she will protect them first.

Family: His mother and father. They are members of Talons Of Peace. But, Poseidon is a guard for Queen Coral. His adopted little sister Urchin.
Gender: Male

Abilities: breath underwater, see in the dark, good in water.
Personality: Unfriendly to everyone other than his sister. He seems anti-social most of the time. He is very loyal to the royal family. To his sister, he is the kindest dragon ever. She really looks up to him. He is her role model. He tries to raise her the best he can, but it’s hard. He would DIE for his sister, she is the world to him. Though, now that she's the academy, he's opened up to other dragons a little more then before.

Appearance: Normal Seawing. He has light blue scales, with a few dark blue and teal scales. He has a scar across his right wing, a SkyWing gave it to him. He can still fly perfectly fine though.

Short History: Raised by his parents for the first 2 years of his life. Then they sent him back to the Ocean to serve the queen. He fought in the war for two years, was only in 3 battles. Spends most of his time guarding the outside of the palace or scouting the perimeter.

Family: Unknown parents. Brother who takes care of her is Poseidon.
Gender: Female
Abilities: Everything a SeaWing can do.
Personality: Outgoing, super friendly, excited about anything. Loves to sing songs. Dreams of being a princess. Loves her brother more then anything else. Loves to swim.

Appearance: A tiny SeaWing, she looks younger then she actually is. Is a teal ish blue color. Always wears two tiny pearl earrings that her brother gave her on her 2nd birthday.

Short History: She was abandoned as an egg. Poseidon raised her as his own sister. Nobody knows where she came from. But she doesn’t know that Poseidon isn’t her real brother. She would be heartbroken if she found out. Only Poseidon knows about her. If anyone else knew, they would probably take her away to find her real parents. And he doesn’t want that.

Appearance: Triton is a large, dark green-blue SeaWing with small blue eyes and a short snout. He isn't extremely tall, and is just about the average height for a dragonet his age.

Personality: Triton has a radiating aura of gloom and anger, that keeps most dragons far away from him. He doesn't care much for the company of dragons, preferring instead to spend time with himself. He acts unfriendly to most dragons, in an attempt to drive them away, but cares a lot about those who don't leave, even if he would rather not show it.

History: Triton grew up in a small SeaWing town underwater, near the Bay of Scales. His mother passed away due to a disease soon after he hatched, and he has hardly any memories of her. He grew up with his father Marcidus working as a construction worker near the palace and hardly ever saw his father. He received an invitation to go to Jade Mountain Academy from the Queen when he was about to turn 5, and left quickly after saying goodbye to his father.

Powers/Abilities:  He can breath underwater, see in the dark, and can create powerful waves with a splash of his tail.

Age: 6 years old (Dragon Years)

Personality: Truthfinder is a very intelligent dragoness, and a scrollworm too at that, often spending hours reading late into the night. She isn't great with socializing, and often will avoid dragons, prefer quiet and peace over spending time with others. Her trust is something given to few, and kept by an even smaller amount. She's rather easily betrayed - due to her lack of people skills - and will hold a grudge for a long time. Those who are her friends, she cherishes with her soul, and cares deeply about.

Appearance: Truthfinder is a short NightWing with a short, round face and dark blue scales. She has silver scales at the edges of her brown eyes, marking her as a mindreader for the dragons of Pyrrhia and Pantala. She has large wings with white and silver scales scattered across the bottoms, in a pattern replicated only by those of her family. She has an average length tail, large eyes, and a pale gray-blue underbelly.

Backstory: Truthfinder hatched underneath a full moon in the NightWing village in the Rainforest kingdom to Duskflight, a healer, and Stoutfang, a guard of the Queen. She grew up with an older brother, Swiftclaw, who was __ years older than her. She learned quickly, devouring the books they had in the Rainforest Kingdom, and learning from the NightWings and RainWings of the ways of their tribes. When she turned 5, the Queen decided to send her to Jade Mountain Academy, so that she could learn more about the tribes, and in general.

Short History: Since his hatching, he has learned to become a healer, his parents want to know the tribe is in good hands once they pass. They sent him to the academy to extend his knowledge on everything.

Abilities: Nothing really, can only fight with his talons.
Personality: Shy, never talks, most dragons think he’s mute. He hates being the center of attention. The only thing that ever makes him feel better, is flying. It lets all of his worries go away. And he worries a LOT about everything.

Appearance: a very tiny light red and light orange dragon. He’s not as bright because all his fire was sucked out of him.

Short History: His parents were killed before he was hatched, he doesn’t know who they are, but has been searching his whole life for answers. But it’s hard, being a mute and all. He was hatched with no fire, his twin brother took it all. But, he was killed shortly after being hatched. Nobody wanted him has a threat.
Falcon feels like a outcast. He wants someone to talk to, but after only talking once in his whole life, he figures nobody wants to know what he has to say. He found out he was an animus dragon when he was wished his bowl would give him more food then it did. He hasn’t used his magic any other times. He thought about giving himself fire, but decided against it, it would give him to much attention because of questions.
The only time he has said anything was begging Queen Scarlet to save his brother, she refused to save him. Saying that Peril was the only champion she needed. Only he, the queen, and a few guards know about his brother. Everyone else just thinks he has some birth deformities.

Short History: Lives in Possibly since the end of the war. There she met Coyote, they are best friends and are always together. They have SO many inside jokes and would do anything for the other. After knowing him for a year, he got her a pet scavenger. She calls it Rose. (It’s a female.) Now goes to school and is in the Silver Winglet with Coyote

Appearance: Never the same, a really tiny dragonet. She may be small, but she is really tough and can go through any conditions. She always says that since she is tiny, it will make her a better spy since the bad guys won’t be able to see her.

Short History: Born in Rainforest, lived there ever since. But she really wants to explore the outside. Really wants to solve a crime of some sort. She really wants to go to the Academy, but wasn’t accepted in.

Puffin is a small dragonet. She has light red scales and and large wings that look odd on her small body. She has the spikes of an Icewing and oddly small claws that aren't very sharp.

Puffin is a fighter and will attack anyone who offends her. If you gain her loyalty though she will guard you and be your best friend forever.

 She grew up in the Skywing kingdom on one of the coldest mountains. Her mother, Gelo, met her father, Zircon, while he was on a diplomatic mission and fell in love with him. Gelo was a stowaway, trying to run away from the Icewing Kingdom because she was accused of murder. Gelo killed a dragon while trying to escape and she never told him. Zircon loved Gelo so he ran away with her to a cold mountain where no one would ever find them. They had Puffin three years later and she grew up in the mountains. When she turned 7 they sent her to Jade Mountain to meet other dragons. Soon after she left Gelo revealed that she had killed a dragon before to Zircon and he ran away to the Skywing palace where he told them that Gelo had held him captive under the threat of death. Gelo didn't know where he went and stayed in the cave, waiting for him to come back. When he came back he had a whole army of dragons with him and they killed Gelo.

Personality:
He acts like a loner and an introvert. He pretends to prefer being left alone but really he is one of the most caring, loving, nicest dragons you will ever meet. He pushes people away for their safety and so that his feelings won’t get hurt when they realized that he is a three-bloodmoon Nightwing with the power to see the last moments of a dragon.

Appearance:
He is Dark Purple, like his Father, with a couple of white scales under his wings. He has a red teardrop shaped scale by his eye that he got after his first vision.

History:
When he was a young dragonet [Around two years old], he was playing around in the Rainforest when he came across a bone and, thinking it was from a regular animal, he picked it up. He immediately began to shake and mumble about a venom lesson gone wrong. When he came back, he was confused and all alone in the Rainforest, the dragonets had gone to their parents who had warned everyone that their dragonets weren’t safe and that there was something strange going on. He looked around and bounded to the village to find his parents and tell them that the dragonets had abandoned him. He entered the village and there was no one in sight, when he knocked on Neighbor’s doors, they didn’t respond. He started to cry. His mother entered the village from the Rainforest and saw him crying and comforted him, she explained to the villagers that they shouldn’t be afraid of him and that he was just a regular dragonet. Five years later she died [He was seven at that point]. He went to her funeral and started to shake and moan about her last moments. The villagers got freaked out and his father disowned him. He fled in shame to the mountains and has lived there for the past eight years of his life.

This however changed her personality from sweet to sour and almost villainous. Many who have met her fear that she might hurt anyone and quickly when she was asleep they would take her somewhere far where she wouldn’t hurt anyone. Later she left in search of shelter.

Personality: Chill and laid back, flirtatious, and romantic. he's the kind of guy that tells his friends "Love you bro" before leaving them. he adores Snow Leopard's (Or Leppy's, as he calls him) Charming British accent.
Special powers: Animus (Doesn't really use it a lot, but made Snow Leopard an animus as well. His venomous tail barb doesn't have a lot of venom in it, so it would take at least ten simultaneous stabs to kill a full-grown dragon.

Family: His only living family is his Mom, MoonCatcher. His father died quite recently. His sister HalfMoon died when she was only a few days old.

Abilities: He can breathe fire, as well as read minds.
Personality: A bit shy and uneasy around dragons at first, but once he gets to know you he can be really energetic and really curious about everything. He loves to sleep. Always likes to express what he’s thinking, even if it is a bit rude.

Appearance: a medium sized dragonet. A bit skinny due to the lack of food he gets. Has a scar across the right size of his face and one across his back due to his father. Wears an animus touched necklace that blocks out his ability. It also erases any memories of being able to read minds.

Short History: He actually hatched in the rainforest when the NightWings were still living in the volcano. His mom wanted him to hatch and be able to see the moon and stars. He hatched under a full moon and was able to read minds. After he hatched, he was brought back to his mom's cave and grew up there. His father was abusive to him and his Mom. He would always take most of the food they were given, only giving them the scraps. Whenever NightScales would do something he wasn’t supposed to, his Dad would hit him. Sometimes scratching him with his sharp talons. (How he got two scars) Though his Father eventually died from a sickness. After that life got better and he got a letter welcoming him to the academy. His mother made him go, wanting to give him a new opportunity.
Other History: His necklace that he wears had been passed down in his family for years. His older relatives were known for having animus's and mind readers. So one of his animus great grandfathers decided to create a necklace, to let any of his future family basically opt out of having powers. It would hide the powers as long as you wore the necklace. It would also remove any memories of having powers. Nightscales soon found out that he was a mind reader. His Mom showed him the necklace, and when he was 1 he decided to wear it. He didn't love reading everyone's thoughts. Removing all memories of his powers.

History: When she came out of her egg, she wasn't fully developed. Since she was weaker, she wasn't able to survive for long. Or so Nightscales and her Mom thought. Her Dad actually took her away when Nightscales and MoonCatcher were out and brought her to a lab where she was tested on. He told both of them that she had wondered away and was probably dead. After her Dad died, she was able to escape and find her way back to her Mom.

Personality: She is quite cocky, flaunting her few color-changing scales and beautiful singing voice. She longs for a deep connection, since her Rainwing father probably doesn't care and her Seawing mother isn't the greatest. Due to this, she has a bad habit of being clingy and developing a crush easily.
Appearance: Mostly aqua blue scales, and instead of light-up scales she has color-changing scales in the place of them. She changes those almost daily. Her eyes are a lavender-blue color, and she has frills like a rainwing that hide gills that work for about 5-hour periods at a time.
Abilities: Can breathe underwater for 5 hours at a time, can change a few scales, gorgeous singing voice, and can see a little in the dark. She has long fangs, but they don't shoot venom and work more like a hognose snake's fangs would.
History: Her mom left when the egg hatched to live in the rainforest kingdom. Her dad had wanted them to live by the ocean and refused to let Boa take her hatchling. Her dad, though, later started to view his daughter as the reason Boa left him and began to neglect her, leaving the young dragonet to teach herself everything she needed to know. because of this, she doesn't know how to read or write well. But her dad did teach her enough aquatic to get by.
