Listing books you have listened too.

Curious of my fellow Goodreaders opinions. Do you think it is cheating to list a book as read if you have only listened to it on audio?
I read copy and ebooks but also listen to a lot of audio books while driving.
I list all these books but just don't feel the need to describe exactly what means I read them. what is your take?

I work on an orchard and most of my job involves sitting on a tractor, so there is plenty of down time. I get to listen to about 7 hours worth of audiobooks, podcasts and music while at work, but mostly audiobooks. Listening to an audiobook definately counts as having 'read' a book. You're still taking in exactly the same content as if you had actually physically read the book yourself.

I think listening counts. I mostly read my books, but have recently started downloading audio books to listen to while driving. I would guess reading, but I'm curious what others have experienced.
