Nik Krasno Hi,

It's always good to have fresh reviews coming, so I can avail a couple of Mobis or PDFs of each of the titles:
Rise of an Oligarch Rise of an Oligarch by Carlito Sofer Mortal Showdown by Nik Krasno Mortal Showdown

Both are international/political/action thrillers. Like Godfather meets Tarantino or James Bond - Guy Ritchie -:)

Best regards,

Nik Krasno

Laurette Long | 3 comments Hello everyone! Wonderful idea for a group. Like all other authors on here I’d love to have reviews from readers for my second indie novel, ‘Hot Basque’, which came out in May 2015. It’s a contemporary romance (see blurb below). I know from my own experience that writing a review is more a matter of hours than minutes so thanks in advance to anyone who volunteers. I’m not allowed to gift Kindle books from Amazon France, but the book will be free to download between January 25th and 29th .
http://www.amazon.com/Hot-Basque-Fren...

HOT BASQUE: Let yourself be carried away to the white sands and pounding surf of the French Basque coast. What could be more relaxing? Find out what’s going on at the Villa Julia, where Caroline and her honey are enjoying the song of the crickets, the glow of the stars and happy romps in the boudoir. Caroline is also doing some matchmaking between best friend Jill and the Hot Basque himself, Antoine, he of the smouldering eyes and perfect teeth. What could be more idyllic? Not a cloud on the horizon. Wait a minute, it’s looking a bit black to the north where wicked sister Annabel is stirring her cauldron, but nothing to worry about, surely??
Get ready for passion, suspense, a few laughs, and who knows, maybe a tear to wipe away...

Thanks and enjoy!
Laurette

Ethan Howard | 3 comments Sidereus Nuncius by Ethan Howard

Hello there, science fiction fans!

I have a recently published novella for your review. It is "Sidereus Nuncius", Book One of a four part series called "Opportvnvs Adest".

In exchange for a review on Amazon & Goodreads, I will provide you with a free copy of the book. You decided on the preferred format. I can be talked into more than one or send you a copy of my horror anthology (Tales of the Unexpected).

Here is a snapshot of what you would be getting into with "Sidereus Nuncius":

**************************************************************
The truth is aLIEn.

War has been eliminated. Crime greatly reduced. Poverty and homelessness is a thing of the past. Things are so good, that many have dared to call it paradise.

Then a powerful and enigmatic stranger comes to Earth with a message:
What you believe is false.
What you know is wrong.

Humans have been manipulated since the dawn of man by shadowy forces. Nothing is what it appears to be and dark times are on the horizon. Everything transpiring on the planet is merely a precursor to unspeakable horrors destined to occur in the year 2020.

The arrival of this starry messenger will either save Earth or accelerate its destruction..............

**********************************************************
Interested?

Contact me at ethanhoward918@gmail.com and we will get that free book out to you.

Cheers.

John (Jmart112358) | 1 comments My first book: The Mythology of Sylphs is the emotional story of a poor boy who lives in a violent and stifling world. He has only one thing that keeps him going; his endless dream of love. WARNING: Don't read this book unless you've known the ache of an all consuming youthful love! It is available from amazon in paperback or for the kindle e reader (which I use on my phone). I am currently reading Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov.

David Maxwell (david_maxwell) | 2 comments I would love to get some honest reviews on my debut novel Rebirth.
Rebirth by David Maxwell
I have 5 paperback copies available for willing readers.

In a place known only as Eden, Doctor Abigail Brennaman wakes to find herself alone and isolated after a terrible accident she barely remembers. Terrified, she struggles for understanding as the surreal situation stretches the very limits of her imagination.

After an unseen host reveals that she has been in cryonic suspension since the accident, she discovers she is not alone in this living nightmare. There are other subjects.

What Eden really is, why Abigail and the others were brought here, and what they should do next are questions that will haunt their every waking moment.

As the unusual host shares revelation after revelation, they must decide together what to believe and what action to take – accept or defy. As the truth comes to light, they fight to hold onto the past while faced with an unpredictable future and a very threatening present. With every mind-boggling revelation, they find themselves further from the life and world they once knew and closer to the truth that may destroy them. Their final decision leads to an intense battle for survival with a shocking outcome.

If you enjoy sci-fi thrillers and would like to read/review Rebirth, please send me a PM. (US only please)

Dana Barksdale | 1 comments Hey everybody! I just released my second self-published book, Ember Rising (The Elementals Book 1) on Amazon, and I would kill for some honest feedback! Well, not actually kill, maim just a little bit maybe. Ember Rising is a Paranormal Romance, the first of four about sisters with the ability to control the elements. In her first twenty years of life, Ember knew mayhem better than most. Traumatized and tortured as a child, she soothed the pain of her past by keeping a needle close at hand and everything else away. Her self-imposed solitude kept the memories at bay and the world safe from her deepest and darkest secret; she could manipulate fire. When Ember meets Reed however, secrecy is no longer an option. Reed is an Elemental, a person born with the remarkable ability to control one of the four elements found in Nature. Ember is surprised to discover she is the first known female in a world of all male Elementals with an unparalleled affinity for fire, and her family is being hunted by a madman. Faced with an almost insurmountable task, Ember must find her long-lost sisters before they fall victim to their enemy's quest for immortality all the while learning control over the raging fire housed within her. Ember soon comes to realize with Reed by her side, anything is possible.

Kevin Hatt | 3 comments Hello, everyone.
I'm currently in the process of releasing No Reason For Insanity, which will be published by Koehler Books, and am looking for reviews. The Kindle version is available on Amazon, and the paperback will be released on February 1st. At present, I only have PDF ARCs, but will be receiving paperbacks in February.
The book is a part of a series (The Haszard Narratives); nonetheless, it isn't necessary to read them in order. I have Microsoft word files for anyone who wishes to read the first five, or can provide PDF.
The book is a mystery/crime/black comedy narrative, and set in England, although the book (at the request of the publisher) is written in the Chicago dictionary.
Intrigued by bizarre events surrounding the murder of a friend, Haszard is asked by the family to look into the matter. Against the advice of his friends, he begins to make enquiries, and is disturbed when he realizes that it may well be someone he knows.
As progress is made, further events occur, endangering the life of Haszard and his friends, and he is forced to delve into the deepest recesses of his resourcefulness . . .

Mark Parker | 5 comments My new middle grade novel, Shaky Man, is now available in pdf for anyone who wants to read and review it. It is the story of the unlikely friendship of two boys, one white, one black, growing up in Central Texas during the 1960's. They are brought together by their common love of laughter, baseball and Star Trek. They come to deal with the racism, intolerance and turbulence of the times. There is even a murder and a trial.

Jo Ann Holt, in the Dallas Focus Daily News said, "This book is so much fun, most readers won’t realize they are being taught compassion and respect for others while turning pages to find out how the story ends."
