Marylee MacDonald (marylee_macdonald) | 2 comments We all write in hopes of connecting with readers. I'd love to give this a try. I have two books on offer.
Montpelier Tomorrow by Marylee MacDonald
The first is a novel about a mid-life mom stepping in to help her daughter. The family faces an ALS crisis, and Colleen wants to help. The novel recently won a Gold Medal for Drama from Reader's Favorites International Book Award, but it's a heart-wrenching read, so check out earlier reviews, and see if it's for you. I have five ARC copies I can send. US addresses only, please. For requests from other countries, I will have to send an Amazon gift certificate. This isn't a self-published book, so I have to buy a copy in order to send it to you, and you must be able to download it from Amazon. I'm happy to oblige in exchange for a review, so let's say 5 copies.

Bonds of Love & Blood by Marylee MacDonald
My second offer is for my brand new short story collection, Bonds of Love & Blood. These are 12 stories, most of which have won fiction prizes in lit mags. If you like Alice Munro, William Travor, or Margaret Atwood, I think you'll like these stories.
I can send reviewers a mobi file or an ARC copy, and I have 10 copies of the paperback and 10 Amazon gift copies to give away. (Same deal as above. Mailing to the US only.) If you'd like to preview either of the books, please check them out on Amazon.

Ichabod Temperance | 1 comments Hi folks!
I try to write steampunk/paranormal adventures, but they keep coming out humorous! These are whimsical, themed, stand alone novels in which monstrous foes attempt to conquer planet Earth. There is no strong language, graphic sex or violence, but Miss Plumtartt says I accidentally sprinkle them with mild innuendo.The kindle copies are nice, but if you will allow me to send you a PDF, you can admire the font play in some of the later books.
A Matter of Temperance {Lovecraftian monsters}
A World of InTemperance {Megalomaniacal Conspiratorialists}
For the Love of Temperance {Martian invaders}
A Study in Temperance {Icky meets Sherlock Holmes!}
In a Latitude of Temperance {Vampyres}
The Measure of Temperance {VooDoo zombies}
The Seventh Voyage of Temperance {ZodGila}
The Title of Temperance {Icky meets King Arthur!}
Thank you my friends!
I greatly appreciate any constructive feedback I can get!
Happy Reading!
Your pal, ~Icky. :-)
In a World of Alpha Males, Ichabod Temperance is the Alfalfa Male.
Always .99 well spent.

Bradford Wheler | 3 comments Hello,
I’m Bradford G. Wheler or just Brad but I find if you don’t use the exact name Goodreads often can’t find you.

My 9th book MONGOLIA AND THE GOLDEN EAGLE An Archaeological Mystery Thriller publishes on 2/1/16.

In addition to my novels I’ve published a series of themed art quotation books. The latest is LOVE SAYINGS wit & wisdom of romance, courtship, & marriage. It feature artwork by 48 artists from 14 countries.

For bloggers and reviews I’m happy to provide free ebooks, do Q&A, interviews or set up special book giveaways (in addition to the giveaway currently on Goodreads) for these two books. Contact me at my personal email bgwheler@gmail.com

Here is a little more info on these two books.

Thank you, Brad

MONGOLIA AND THE GOLDEN EAGLE An Archaeological Mystery Thriller

Why is Cornell archaeology professor Robert Johnson, a pre-Columbian scholar, selected to head up a multimillion-dollar project in Mongolia? Why is this so important to high-tech billionaire Walter Falone? Why is he using consultants from Israel Aerospace Industries for his government contract in Mongolia?

For Johnson and his colleague, brilliant and beautiful assistant professor Abbey Summers, it becomes the adventure of a lifetime in MONGOLIA AND THE GOLDEN EAGLE, a new mystery thriller from author Bradford G. Wheler.

Cyber security threats, high-tech spying, and Chinese agents mix in this ingenious and thrilling plot of full of twists and turns. Somewhere in spectacular snowcapped Altai Mountains of western Mongolia there is a mysterious object that people are willing to kill for.

Readers will meet fascinating characters they’ll never forget: a high-tech billionaire, a quick-witted professor, his beautiful young assistant, a former sumo wrestler, a full-blooded Navajo Indian, and the people of Mongolia.

This assiduously researched, fast-paced novel brings archaeology and cyber espionage to life against the backdrop of the wild and rugged landscape of Mongolia, the land of Genghis Khan.

Along with riveting action, MONGOLIA AND THE GOLDEN EAGLE contains 27 illustrations and photos. Wheler draws on his own expertise in engineering, technology, and business to help readers feel that they are living the adventure.

LOVE SAYINGS: wit & wisdom of romance, courtship, and marriage.

This art-themed quotation book covers topics including Love Through the Ages, Women, Men, Dating, Sex, Children, and more. This collaborative publication has two goals in mind: first, to honor and highlight the power and humor of love through text and artwork, and second, to showcase the talents of new and emerging artists.

Saleh Radaideh (salehmradaideh) | 6 comments Hello everyone,
Take time to buy and review my 99c book titled Yaser and Yasmeen. It's an epic poem/novel in verse. Reviews love it so far. Share it with your friends, and look into it!
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017...
Description:
"Greatest Novel I Ever Read!"
"Written in the best kind of way."
"A Thought Provoking and Unique Book"
"From the literary angle, that it’s written in such format makes this book truly special."
- Reviews

Yaser and his friends sacrificed their lives not only for love, but to redeem the whole world. There were no lengths they hadn't gone to to attain the needed goal of happiness.

They had lost everything in their lives. After witnessing the whole world descend to darkness, they took it upon themselves to be saviors of humanity. Besides being a love story between Yaser and Yasmeen, it is also a tale of how four friends were able not only to inspire love into the Earth, but also to redeem the people of all layers of Hell into Heaven. By doing so, they've angered not only the police force on Earth, but also all the demons in the afterlife.

The four friends went on crazy adventures, breaking rules whatever they were. They sought out pleasure despite boredom, and joy despite sorrow. Throughout the story, they formed a musical cult with odd rituals and customs. After spending much time in this cult, they eventually expanded it to spray paint slogans of love all throughout the city of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Eventually, they had to face all the demons in the afterlife, and redeem their way up into heaven. They had dialogues and fights with demons, struggling to save themselves from the fire and misery beneath in hell. After much struggle and suffering, they ended up changing not only things on Earth, but the circumstances in the life after death.

An Excerpt: This Giant Mist

And so the heralds of the world end up becoming dead
When it is contained in the words they’ve sincerely said
That they wished to appeal to God’s intentions up above
It seems that they would be killed for preaching love
And the world will always be disconnected without love, and so will there be unrest
And even though all heralds of fate do try their best
To promote this state of unity, amongst both sides
It seems that such heralds would have surely died
We’ve always had this side quest, to inspire ways to invoke upon the world construction
Throughout the world, to avoid a world war three’s destruction
Yet apathy prevails, when hope seems to never exist
And so nothing will remove from the world this giant mist

Show support and feel free to PM me if you need anything!

Saleh

Walter Daniels (FBNGroup) | 52 comments I just finished my first "cozy" (Witchcozy, by Amelia Morgan) mystery, and it was a fun read. I got it for free, but it's worth twice the $0.99 price. Usually the "amateur investigator" is just a (whatever), but this one is also a real witch. This is a good, quick, read for when you want a quick entertaining book. I look forward to her getting better as an author, and learning to paint word pictures even better. Every author gets better as their career progresses, but not all start off so well. I'm looking forward to "Ax to Grind," the follow up book.
What's even better, is it's a _clean_ (G rated) budding romance novel. I cared about both the Main Character (a donut baking Witch) and the detective (love interest, with a history). If this is what a "cozy" is, I want to read more of them.

L.M. Nelson (lmnelson) | 3 comments Looking for reviews for my first book, Scrubs

Here’s an overview:

Randy Hanson, charming playboy and son of a wealthy doctor, strives to reach one goal–graduating from medical school. Medical school is challenging enough without the added stress Randy is faced with in combatting constant badgering from one of his classmates, suffering through countless and unnecessary ‘pimping’ acts from higher level medical personnel, and coming to the aid of his best friend, Jim Ryan, as he recovers from personal turmoil. Randy’s life turns upside down and becomes even more complicated when he realizes he is developing deep emotional feelings towards a spunky collegiate sorority girl by the name of Jane Davine. Jane is facing her own demons with a domineering father and attempting to overcome the life-altering death of her mother.

Randy and his friends take on the stress of medical school together and lean on each other, bonding as professionals, growing and maturing into responsible adults, and becoming closer friends than they had ever been before. Will they all meet their goal and graduate together, or will the pressure become too much for them to handle?

I have a few paperbacks and will send out electronic (PDF) copies of my book if anyone is interested in reading it with the intention of posting a review. E-mail me at authorlmnelson@yahoo.com if interested. The first chapter is available for free here: https://lmnelsonscorner.wordpress.com...

THE SLEEPING have always come for The Unwanted...
James would fight for his life many times – always winning and yet always fearing that anytime soon, it might be his last.
THE SLEEPING are guardians of the underworld who feed from the tormented souls sent there. In our world, they haunt those whom they believe belong in Hell.
THE SLEEPING enter our realm to claim their victim, until the wrongly-given soul is taken.
When The Custodian of ‘The Room of Truth’ is asked to perform a ritual of worship, loyalty to God and The Messenger are in conflict. The lives of The Unwanted, The Protector, The Messenger and 2 Pretty Things are assembled by divine invitation.
You know when they’re here... you can feel them.
Remember; stay awake, because when they come for you and take you, there is no going back. If you give up fighting, then you might as well give up living...

The Unwanted – A person not created from want.
The Protector – The shield made from love.
The Custodian – The keeper of sins inside ‘The Room of Truth’.
The Messenger/The Key – Is someone who is at the bidding of The Sleeping. A soul for a soul.
The Pretty Things – Beauties of either gender.

You can send me a message here or at jackie@jackiedana.com with your email address and format preference.

If you write urban fantasy or historical fiction with strong female characters, especially with magical elements (like Outlander, A Discovery of Witches, etc.) I'd also be interested in checking out your book for a possible review exchange. Let me know! :)

Blurb:

In Sarducia, magic is real—at least for now.

Kate Norton isn’t prepared for a debate about magic. All she wants is to keep her job. But when the silver ring she just inherited suddenly drops her into this mysterious, archaic land, her priorities quickly change.

For magic is what lies at the heart of a political rivalry threatening to tear Sarducia apart. Even as Kate tries to figure out why she ended up in Sarducia, she gets pulled into the conflict. Unwilling to be a passive bystander to unfolding events, Kate forges her own path, using instinct to decide who she can trust, and rebuffs those who try to manipulate her.

Driven by loyalty and love, Kate takes dangerous risks with far-reaching consequences. Will her efforts be enough to save herself and her friends?

By Moonrise is a tale of intrigue, mystery and romance…
and one stubborn woman who keeps tripping on the hem of her dress.

Jessica O'Toole (jayotee) | 8 comments Hi all,

I'm looking to build up reviews for the brand new release in my sword & sorcery series which is a sequel to my debut. Both are available free of charge in exchange for honest reviews (I never, ever respond to reviews or interact with reviewers about them. They're none of my business!).

So you can decide if they're OK for your age/disposition.

Part One - Prenitia: The Fate of Vultures - 4.4 on GR at the moment. The lighter of the two, epic fantasy adventure with light romance & fantasy violence.

Part Two - Prenitia: The Price of Sanctuary - quite a lot darker, some sexual scenes and fantasy violence. The romance is more through healthy relationships! Set a decade after the first one, you don't necessarily need to have read Part One, but as with all sequels you might miss some clarity.

I can offer mobi and PDF immediately. Any others might take a tad longer. My website has further info on my work :)

Thanks for reading!
JOT
