Hey e-book fans! I’m excited about posting my newest e-book, The Shadow Walkers, on Amazon. Oddly enough it started with two words that popped into my head while driving on a weekend getaway with my wife. For a bit of fun I mentioned I had an idea for my next book and I presented the picture of an operating room saying that the very first words in the book were “Clear! Clear!” I gave her a rough idea of what was going on in the room and that it turned out to be anything but a normal operating procedure, (including the patient.) But at that point I stopped and had to admit I had no idea what happened next, or where the story would end up. It drove my wife crazy waiting to review the first draft of a story that took several months to write, but now it’s out there, and you don’t have to wait.
Here’s the gist of the tale:

A diabolical scientist with serious “hate issues” and a genius for accomplishing her goals has successfully stolen a small quantity of enriched uranium from the Russian nuclear power plant during the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Her intentions go far beyond nuclear holocaust. Her goal is much more sinister. How then does Brad Reagan, an unassuming ER surgeon in Buffalo New York, figure into this dynamic? What is the thread that may tie him to an international plot to change the course of human history? And what of those that are called Shadow Walkers? Helpless to interfere, yet they remain all powerful throughout the history of humankind to alert those humans deemed worthy so that humans may prevent a calamity if they so choose. History is rampant with devious threats. A choice to assist comes with enormous risk. As the book cover suggests, be ready for “Pages and pages of sinister fun!”

I recommend grabbing a favorite beverage and perhaps a few chips to go along with this tale. It may keep you from biting your nails.
