Nora Roberts and her husband own a bed & breakfast in Maryland. My friend stayed there in the Eve and Roarke room. They put the grey button on the pillow as a keepsake for the guests. I'm going to go next summer.

FYI, Nora incorporated the renovation of the inn into her Inn BoonsBoro Trilogy.
