Acacia (acaciag) | 5 comments Fist of this is NOT Mythos Academy, Alex Craft or Winter Wayne Series! Thank You.

This series protagonist is a female with psychic/psychometry powers. She’s often consulted by auction houses, antique stores and museums to authenticate items and get the history of items. She has a talking teddy bear as a familiar, a gift from her father. The talking walking teddy bear has the spirit of a powerful dead witch from centuries ago.

Her psychometry makes it hard for other people to visit her apartment, and when they do they have to be sterilized and wear a skintight suit so they don’t leave their essence on her belongs if they touch them.

She is called in to consult by the police, which leads her to touch the bones of three dead witches whose spirits were trapped in the bones and released once she touches them also she absorbs their powers; ice, fire... etc.

Acaia, around what year did you read this book? This will help us narrow down the search.

What's the location (country/region/city/small town)?

I used Amazon's 'Look Inside' feature and she does indeed have a talking teddy bear. His name is Red.
