Hi Sunshine. Thank you so much for the invite. For the rest of the group, my name is Jessica. I am reading for pleasure for the first time in my life, and I am loving every minute of it. Growing up, every book I read was a school assignment and in college it was textbooks only. After I finished my Masters, I took 2 years to study for the CPA exam. After I passed all four parts, I found myself with a lot of spare time and decided to pick up a book... and then another after that and another after that. I'm excited to see where we go together!

Hello, everybody. My name is Vicky and I am actually Sunshine's mom. I enjoy all books, including classics. I recently finished a really good book by Charlotte Brontë called Shirley. I look forward to enjoying more classics. I also look forward to hearing from all of you about the books you're reading. I think this group is going to be a blast. Happy reading!

What are you reading now? I am going to be taking a slow steamer ride down the Nile for my first book/task of the 7 Wonders Challenge. (Agatha Christie)

Very nice! My mom was a huge Agatha Christie fan, and I plan to read her books in the future. My mom passed a few years ago, but her passion for books lives on through me. :)
I am currently reading Pride & Prejudice and Flawless, both part of the 7 Wonders Challenge.
Jessica,I finished my slow ride down the Nile from my armchair. Would love to do it from an actual boat on the Nile. I finished Death on the Nile by the Queen of Mystery. I had seen the movie a couple of times with my favorite Poirot, Peter Ustinov, and so some of the story I knew well. There were a few surprises in the story that weren't in the movie.
My mother loved Agatha Christie as well as others, too. She passed away a year ago yesterday. She was/is a great lady. I am sure your mother was wonderful also.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Vicky
