(view spoiler)[ I liked knowing Ari’s feelings during her first pack event. It sucks that she still feels unwanted and like an outsider in the pack that wants her to join. I also liked Killian’s introduction and can’t wait to learn more about him. When Marcus challenges Ari, I was disappointed that she’s more bark than bite and has to rely on her shadowborn self to have an advantage, but loved that Killian decided to help and lend his strength to her. Chapters 13-18
(view spoiler)[ I’m kind of excited that Ari and Killian are fated mates. He’s one of my favorites so far and I hope Ari decides to accept it. I loved getting to see Ari’s wolf’s POV in this section and how she feels/ thinks. I loved that Killian opened up to Ari about what happened to his pack and why he despises Shadowborns. Chapters 19-24
(view spoiler)[ Tori was invited to stay with their pack and I’m glad that we’ll probably see more of her, she’s my favorite female character besides Gloria. Although I’m not surprised that Marcus sold her out to the Shadowpack, I wasn’t necessarily thinking about it. I was not expecting the Shadowpack alpha to be her father- that’s completely messed up what he chose to do to her. I love that all of the guys agreed to be in a relationship with her together for her sake and protection. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 6 - (view spoiler)[ Ok wait, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the whole Shadow thing. So being a Shadowborn means she can turn invisible like a ghost, and that's what makes them such efficient assassins, etc.? But if her old back are all shadowborn, then why don't they just sneak up to her in shadow and take her? Why all the sneaking around town and stuff? (hide spoiler)]

Finished - (view spoiler)[ Hmm, so even though the Alpha is dead, we aren't quite finished with the Shadows because Terrance is still alive, and Marcus too, right? All I can say is that I hope Ari accepts the mate bond with her men soon so they can share her powers and be better protected. I know she doesn't want to feel caged by a relationship, but perhaps by having more than one guy fill the role, it will be easier for her to handle?? I'm also wondering if Eric will end up joining their little harem. I'm kinda hoping so!

(view spoiler)[ I feel like Ari’s more in a coma state or something instead of dead after saving her men. Seb seems to have more power/ influence than he had in book one and I wonder why. I wonder if the man of light will turn out to betray her or if he’ll stay an ally. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I liked learning in more detail about how Tori and Ari met. Terrence is back and he’s been attacking the shifters and cloaking it with strong magic. It’s definitely twisted that he thinks he’s doing the right thing in order to get her to come back to the pack. I thought it was weird but cool that she could reappear inside of someone and kill them. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 15- Epilogue

LOL! I was upset everytime a (view spoiler)[ threesome was interrupted too. It was like "Yes, yes, yes! awwwwwww, booooo!"

I am also NOT ok with Tori being dead, especially since she was about to get a foursome on with brothers! I'm hoping that she cast some kind of spell on herself that either let herself be projected into the room from afar, or rendered her temporarily able to heal from any wound even death.
