Hope you really enjoy the challenge Flo. Couple of minor things. No 11 should be Australia and no 1 I think is set in Greenland - that's what I was told by someone recommending it to me a while back. That will leave lots of other places in Scandinavia to pick off on your travels. Must read Smilla sometime. Did you enjoy it?

No - not really - but there was just something about it that kept me reading. I will so some edits now. It has to be said that Geography is not one of my strong points!! (....have I got any???). I wasn't sure if Tasmania classed as a country on it's own or whether it would be linked in with Australia.

What did you think of River God? I've had it recommended to me but not got round to it yet.

I wasn't enjoying it, so put it away a few times as I found it very difficult to get into, but kept going back to it and it wasn't too bad. I can't really say too much about it as it was quite a while ago now and, as you can guess from my comments, didn't impress me overly much.
