looking to get into the author program.

hello, I am looking to try to join the author. so far I have two poems set to be published in a book but it is not out yet. I also have a short story that was published to a website.

My question is, is there a way to add that short story from the website so I can get into the author program?

I tried to add it but kept getting the message that I was not authorized to add books.

Hi Dalton

The first step towards the author program is to add at least one book record of your titles. If you are unable to do that yourself, here's the way to request a GR Librarian to add it for you: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Basically, we need some info about the title in order to add it. :) If the website requires a login to access your story, it isn't considered published by Goodreads standards, but if it is open to all it should qualify.

If any of your upcoming titles is listed for preorder on the publisher's site or Amazon, we should be able to add those too.

I clicked on the link that you posted. It took me to a page telling me how to request it but not where I need to request it. I assume I just create a new topic?
