Cass (bookishcass) | 8 comments Wrap up: Unfortunately I only got to 1 out of 2 of the books on my TBR pile for this readathon but that’s alright because the one book that I did read I loved! The book was Beastly by Alex Flinn and I recommend it to anyone! Overall I had a blast with this readathon and can’t wait for next month!

The Surface Breaks loved this, had me hooked and was a quick read
Tiger Lily enjoyed it but had a hard time wanting to pick it up, like it was capturing but -i kept doing other stuff instead of picking it up.
Social Intercourse my audiobook for the week. totally fine a little predictable.
feel like a lot of time was lost to being ill hoping that december wont be so bad :)

Maija (maijavi) I completely forgot to write my wrap-up! And I only updated once during the week. I finished reading Blanca & Roja by Anne-Marie McLemore, which used elements of "Snow White and Rose Red" and "The Swan Lake" to create a magical realism story about two sisters. I enjoyed the writing, but think it failed to focus as much on the sisters as I would have liked.

I also finished two other books that week, the dark fantasy Night's Master by Tanith Lee (which did feel a bit like fairy tales, myths, and legends from a made-up world, so I guess it sort of works?) and the vampire book A Small Charred Face by Kazuki Sakuraba.

Blanca & Roja by Anna-Marie McLemore

Simone (simonec75) I managed to read 2 out of my 3 since I had to work on some books for other challenges. But 2 out of 3 is still great. I added the entire Grimm Sisters series to my to-read shelf. Soooo good!
